I remember my first day in Ms Miller's mansion, I was fifteen years old. I heard Ms Miller was a wicked old lady, she kills her servants if they make mistakes more than two times. She owns a mansion in the forest,her yard is a very huge land one could get lost in it. I heard she'd lived for so long, she was 400 years old when she saw her great grand daughter clock ten. When I was thirteen my mother died, and my dad lost his job and he couldn't pay the bills. My uncle steward adviced us to get me a job as a maid at Ms Miller's mansion. Since they paid really well, out of 100% I can only take 2% and the rest would be sent to my family, almost all the rich people in our city sacrificed their children just to get money. I packed my bags and left for the mansion, I didn't know how to do anything at the mansion. Ms Miller's mansion was so old fashioned, tea was served with one or two tea bags in it and a little sugar or no sugar at all. ‘Darling add no sugar’ Ms Nova said. I did as I was told so I wouldn't get killed before my fifteenth birthday. That night after the execution of Bianca because she was carrying Master Thomas child, Ms Miller had her killed and arranged a marriage for Master Thomas with a foreigner. ’ I can't wait till I'm thirty’ Sarah said in the kitchen, we were cleaning up. I , Sarah, Tiana and Linda, we were room mates. ’ Why?’ I asked. ’ So Ms Miller would let me go to have a child and then bring me back ten years later’ she answered. ’ Really?’. ‘ C'mon, you know already. Ms Nova has two children doesn't she?, and she visits them twice a month’ Linda said. ‘ I just hope we live till we're thirty because this Master Tyler is just so charming’ I said and we all burst out all laughing , just then Master Tyler entered. We froze, ‘ Can I have a cup of coffee?’ he said. Sarah pushed past me to put the kettle on the stove, ‘ they'll be ready in five minutes’ she said. And he left, ‘see what I was talking about?, we might not live long’ I said. Finally we left the kitchen to sleep, it was dark, the mansion doesn't use electricity so we use candle for light and our candle hed all been used up. No one even bothered to go down the basement and fetch the candles because if we got caught we were dead meat. The next morning after breakfast by eight we were all in our room, Sarah was writing a letter to her mother because they didn't allow cell phones, Linda was lying awake on the bed, Tiana was writing her diary, while I was sewing a dress for Sunday sermon. It was one of my original designs, actually I had a lot of original designs but this was the cheapest my money could afford. ‘ “ I wanna make out with prince charming” ’ Linda sang. We giggled a bit, ‘so who's your prince charming?’ I asked. ‘ um Master Tyler of course’ she said. ‘ you know what I heard!’ Sarah said excitedly. ‘ what!?’ we chorused. ‘ Ms Miller would soon step down’ she whispered. ‘ Why?’ we asked. ‘ I heard she contacted a disease overnight and it's untreatable’ she said. ‘ Ms Alison will take over soon’ she added. I hoped so, I wished there would never be a cure for what ever disease she had unless I had it but I know that was pure wicked. Ms Miller called for me serve her lunch, vegetable omelette and spaghetti sauce. She was sitting at the long table with Ms Alison, she wore a black long thick scarf covering her neck, she looked so ill, and I almost felt pity but why should I feel pity for a murderer like her. I didn't watch my step when I was carrying her cup of tea on her favorite tray, I slipped on the carpet and the cup and tea pot shattered into pieces on the floor. I would have shattered too but some one caught me holding me by the waist. Ms Alison came to the corridor and saw me, ‘ Olivia I expect better of you’ she said then looked over my shoulder at the person behind. I also turned around and to my greatest surprise it was Master Tyler, I gasped in surprise and pulled myself away picking up the pieces of glass on the floor. ‘ It wasn't her fault, I bumped into her and it fell ’ he lied. Ms Miller came too, ‘ Oh my God, what have you done!!!’ Ms Miller screamed. ‘ that makes one mistake for today!’ she said angrily. Ms Alison followed Ms Miller back to the dinning room while Master Tyler helped me out with the broken cup and tea pot. ‘ you don't have to help me ’ I said. ‘ no it's fine ’ he said. ‘ you could get injured ’ I explained. ‘ So do you ’ . ‘ And besides I want to help ’ he said. After clearing out the broken cup and tea pot I made another tea for Ms Miller and he insisted on helping me but he actually didn't instead he watched me do it. I got to my room meeting my friends all smiley face, ‘ what's wrong with your face?’ I asked. ‘ you lucky thing ’ Linda said. ‘Uh ? ’ I didn't understand. ‘ You spent almost half a minute with Master Tyler in the kitchen so what happened? ’ Tiana asked. ‘ Oh nothing ’ I answered casually. ‘ If you say so’ Sarah said. I got back to my sewing again but I wasn't all concentrated on it I was thinking of how Master Tyler held my waist, that was so romantic but I was sure he didn't mean it of course. I wished he meant it and we would get married I'll be called Olivia Smith.
