Destiny of Three: Journey Through Fate

FLASHBACK: “A pure soul full of love and understanding would find two king mates, fall in love, and break the curse that was placed when Celeste killed herself in the past. The curse was a heavy hatred between the two kingdoms.. This hatred was to bring a war that would have ended nearly everyone… The love and acceptance of each other was shown when you marked each other. Thus, lifting this curse…” she pauses. “You have some explaining to do..” she gestures to the forming groups of people coming from both sides.. “Congratulations Alexis, I knew you were the one.” She states and then she was gone.. The two worlds are now side by side.. The curse that brought hatred and war is now lifted.. All because we found love and accepted each other?? I began to feel nervous as there are so many people forming from both sides at the bottom of the hill.. Sam and Dimitri both grab my hands and look at me with a smile on their faces. “You’ve got this.” Sam nudges me. ALEXIS’ POV: I see all of these people gathering. They are waiting to hear what has happened. Looking around and seeing their king alongside an other king and a girl. Confused. Scared. I take a step forward, still holding Sam and Dimitri’s hands. I clear my throat. “Can I have everyone’s attention please?” I ask but they are now bickering with each other. “Can I please get everyone’s attention?” I ask again. Nothing. They are arguing and not listening. “SILENCE!” I command. Everyone stops and looks at me. Now confused on how I had the power to make them stop. Crap. Sam squeezes my hand as a sign of reassurance. I swallow my fear and try again. “Hi. I just need everyone’s attention so we can explain a few things. I want to first say I am sorry for the disturbance that just occurred. We did not know that would happen…” I start to explain but get interrupted. “Who exactly are you?” A man asks. His tone irritated me but I shrugged it off. It is a valid question. I look at Sam and then Dimitri, both nod as if they are telling me to go for it. “My name is Alexis Shaw. I am the daughter of Lucian Ansaldo and Alice Shaw.” As I announce this I hear gasps and whispers. “Yes I am part werewolf and part witch. I recently had my 18th birthday and received my wolf. Although it is rare besides with multiples, I have found myself having two mates..” I stop to let everything absorb. Someone yells “She’s a witch, she must have put them under a spell!” A bunch of agreement and anger begins to fill the air. Sam growls and Dimitri yells, “ENOUGH!” Everyone gets quiet again. “This is a long story for an other day. But just know that the connection was made when Alexis was unaware of her powers.” Dimitri adds. Then he looks at me to tell my own story. “Like King Dimitri stated this is a very long story, but I was raised in a human village. My mother kept our village under spells to keep us from getting our powers, both from being a witch and wolf. It was all made clear to me last year. However, I grew up with King Samual. The connection was always there. I also met King Dimitri before I had any powers. The connection was also there. Both connections were there even under a spell to hide all magic.. So no, to squash those rumors and gossip, no I did not put a spell on either of them.” I explain softly but sternly. I don’t want a riot or a repeat of what happened with Celeste. A lady gets to the front of the crowd and asks, “so what does this mean for our kingdoms?” An other asks, “why did our kingdoms get pulled here?” Thus began an other round of talking and arguing. I simply raise my hand to halt everyone. “The reason the kingdoms have both been pulled here is because the three of us have marked each other. As the last mark was made is when this happened..” I start to explain but a man interrupts. “So you’re saying the three of you plan to be a couple??” He asks. A woman asks. “Does this mean you will all rule together??” At her question everyone was silent. “The plan is we will rule side by side. I will still rule our kingdom, while King Dimitri will rule his kingdom. We plan to live in harmony with each other. The feud that started our war against each other was all a misunderstanding. We have done a lot of research to find answers over the last year. We want to change the way everyone views other creatures. King Dimitri and I will collaborate on many things to help keep the peace and safety of our people a priority.” Sam explains. They were quiet for a moment. “What does this mean for her though?” A man asks. “The her you are speaking about is your queen. She will be the queen to both kingdoms. She will be the heart and the soul of both kingdoms. Some of you have met her over the last year, those who have not will eventually and will love her. She has the purest soul and biggest heart you will ever meet. However, do not take this as a weakness. Queen Alexis here is so strong and fast she beats warriors and guards in trainings. Not to mention that this was also before she got her wolf. I have no doubt she will be even stronger and faster now..” Dimitri pauses to look at me with such admiration. “You all are truly blessed to have such a woman as your queen.” “All hail Queen Alexis.” Someone shouts. Then everyone begins to bow down on the ground while saying “all hail queen Alexis”. It made me feel little weird but also good to see all of these people accepting me. I can feel the tears welling up in my eyes.. Everyone begins to get up. “Where will you live?” Someone asks. Huh. They both look at me. Aha! I’ve got it. “We will building a castle right here in the enchanted forest. We will also build a bridge from the new castle to each of the castles that were previously used for ruling. We will split the guards between the main castle and the other castles.” I answer. I see Sam and Dimitri both smile. This must mean they agree with my thought! The questions went on for a while but after 2 hours everyone went back to their homes. “Well that was crazy!” Sam states. I nod. So exhausted. We are about to head back to the cottage when a light flashes behind us. I turn around and I see Celeste standing there. I walk up to her and hug her. “Oh Alexis I am so proud of you! You did it! You really did it! I knew you would find a way. You are one strong and determined woman!” She pauses and looks at Sam and Dimitri. “You two are very lucky to have Alexis. Better take care of her and don’t screw it up. Cherish her and never let her go!” She says with tears in her eyes. They both grab one of my hands and pull me to them. “We are beyond blessed to have Alexis. You are correct. I have no intentions of treating her like anything BUT the queen she is. And I will never let her go. Never.” Dimitri professes. “Never.” Sam agrees kissing my cheek. “Very well. Best of luck to you Queen Alexis.” Celeste says proudly and disappears. I smile proudly. “Who was that?” Sam asks. “That was Celeste.” I state. Both of their jaws drop.
