It was morning. Early morning, the night sky slowly gave way to the light of day. The protection the darkness had offered slowly faded away and left him staring around like a lost petrified sheep. The trees offered little to no cover. Well, the trees would never offer much cover unless he could camouflage like a chameleon, which he was not.     The warlock crouched down closer to the ground. Every instinct told him to turn around and head back the way he had come.
