*Xavier’s POV*
Thank goddess, Brook had been released from the clinic already. The doctors confirmed that she didn’t have any broken bones and that she would be healed soon with all the medication that they had prescribed her. They wanted to keep her longer, but my stubborn sister didn’t want to. We didn’t fight her about it because we just wanted her to be comfortable and calm.
As soon as she was released, we took her to her bedroom to rest.
“Liam, you should go rest too.” I told him. We had gone days without having a decent sleep and, even after the rescue mission, we had been running around, getting things in order.
“I don’t want to leave her side,” He said as he looked at the door sadly. He didn’t want to go inside of her bedroom to prevent her from having a panic attack.
