DAWSON
Dawson skidded to a halt in front of the group assembled on the beach.
“I have an idea who it might be.”
“Who?” Lucas asked.
“Mikki’s assistant. Jimmy?”
“What? Why would you think that?”
Dawson recapped the clues Violet had left. “Vi hardly knows anyone here in San Francisco, but she must have seen him around often enough at the studio and here at the house. She probably trusted him.”
“What, and she suddenly realised in the parking lot that he was the stalker?” Brax asked.
“Something happened there,” Lauren told him. “There were scuff marks, as if Vi struggled.”
