Skye's P.O.V.

After taking my seat, Daryk whistled and staff began to enter the room with trays of food. My eyes opened wide. It looked as if there was enough food for a small army, not two people. Noticing my expression, daryk smiled.

"I had the chef make all of your favorites. I wasn't sure what you would want."

" One of any of these would have sufficed. What are we going to do with everything we do not finish?"

"toss it in the trash . What else would we do with it?"

"Feed the other pack members?"

" You haven't met anyone and you're already worried about their well being?"

" If I must stay here and you do keep your word, they will be my pack members. It is my duty to look after them and put their needs first. That is what a Luna does."

" You are marvelous. If it pleases you, I will have everything we don't eat sent to the pack house for the members working there "

" It would please me very much" I said, offering him a small smile.

" Then it is settled they will have an amazing meal. Anything else I can do to make that beautiful smile spread across your face, just name it."

"Well, now that you mention it, I would be forever grateful if you could make Megan forget me coming in here with a sword and trying to kill her like some crazy lady instead of her best friend?"

"already done my queen new memories are easier to take away."

" Thank you. I appreciate that we have been friends for so long. I'd like to try and make the best out of my situation and she would help allot and me accusing her so quickly might cause a drift. "

I settled into eating and, oh my goodness, the chef here is amazing. Everything tastes fabulously. I have never had anything this good. My taste buds are in complete heaven. The food is so good I almost forget that I am eating with a kidnapper who is holding my best friend and me hostage. I am stuffed to the rim. I couldn't eat anymore if you paid me. Looking up, I noticed he wasn't eating anything and I am pretty sure he didn't when I was eating either.

"are you not going to eat anything ?"

" I can eat if it makes you more comfortable, but it doesn't do much as far as nourishment. I don't really need it anymore to service."

" What do you mean anymore? what exactly are you? I know that you are a magic creature so maybe a wizard or sorcerer? your also very strong Ive seen you use a sleeping spell and she is still sleeping."

" I know so much about you. I feel like I have known you my entire life. I forget we are just really beginning. When I say I don't need it anymore, I mean I made a deal a long long time ago to no longer need the normal kind of nourishment, I get my strength and power from somewhere else."

" is it a secret? or something you're just not fully comfortable with me to divulge yet ?"

Daryks p.o.v.

Im not sure if she is really this strong or if she is playing me like her favorite game i never realized how much i depended on others thoughts to get through a situation until she began to completely block me out.

"its not a secret I made a deal to not need food during a famine i sacraficed a couple villages and now i servive on greed guilt wealth power i dont need food i can pull the negative from people or objects."

"sacraficed as in you killed everyone in villages who would do such a thing?"

"i didnt kill everyone i left the strongest male behind to warn the next village and spread fear for me to feed."

"leaveing one person alive out of an entire village is killing everyone Daryk! So you killed kids and their mothers and all for a selfish deal?"

"doing so has kept me alive for thousands of years i would do it again if i needed to I wipe out towns when i get to bored for to long im a killer its who i am ."

"your disgusting with a mind like that you shouldnt kill out of bordem I was ready to agree to this horrible deal and give it a shot but your a monster ill never stop fighting to get away from you !"

she said it with so much venom and disgust I knew she wasnt lying I was going to have to wipe her memories and live a lie for a few years until she was settled and I knew she loved me the I would be honest and we would work past it.

"what if i stopped and only feed on objects or people who deserve to die ?"

"so now your going to play goddess who are you to decide who lives and dies?"

"Dont act like a saint you were willing to kill a mere few hours ago to escape. some people deserve to die if people attacked your pack back home would they not be killed by your worriors led by your father? "

"we dont kill for sport we do it to survive"

"So do I thats the deal that was made negativity gives me streagth" i could tell she was actually listing and taking in what i was saying

"i could never live in peace with someone who kills out of bordem i want things different then they are now and you having that state of mind i would never be able to forgive my self for not trying to stop you from doing such horrible things killing to servive is one thing it doesnt take entire towns to survive."

"you are right i just thought of it as a game and i will stop for you " this has been tiring Im not ready to say goodbye but i need to feed and rest.

"I dont believe you for a second if you have been living this way for so long your not going to stop at my request"

"I would just about do anything you ask of me without a second thought "

"Only time will tell. I'm not sure if you were wanting an answer tonight if thats the case prepare for disappointment because I dont have one. I never thought my life would come to this ,half of me wants you to just take all this away but I know myself and if i was to find out you were lying later on it would not be good the other half of me just wants you to kill me even with time i dont think i could ever be happy with you knowing the truth. I'm going back to my room I remember earlier you called it our room I trust you will be finding somewhere else to sleep to Give me time and space alone. if magean wakes up please send her to me right away i promise to remeber the lies you are putting forth and ill even try to be the doting luna she knows i would be if this was really how my life was supposed to turn out with my true mate and not a crazy captor.

I couldnt hide the pain in my eyes i knew she wouldnt be happy right away but the disgust and hurt she has expressed has me thinking maybe i should have tried doing this another way. winning her heart instead of stealing it.

"There are plenty of rooms for me to stay in until your ready I will give you 24 hours to think and ponder your next move if you let me I will make you happy"

she didnt respond she just bowed slightly and turned and left the room I promised I would have the food sent to the pack house for the wolves who are working so I called on K.C. to make the arrangements for it to be transported over. also to inform him of my plan for the next 24 hours. He has been here the longest ive grown to trust him. For pack purposes he is the beta. I'm going to give her the space she has asked for but I want him to watch her like his life depends on it because well it does if something was to happen id kill him.

"hey daryk you called"

"Skye has been told the truth the entire truth she has made demands I plan on honoring but she also had a request that I give her space so for the next 24 hours ill be sending others this way i also need to go get that coven i told you about she is not to leave the house if she wants to be outside you can take her to the garden its still in the walls"

"Sounds good boss i got your back see you when you return"
