The Man in My Dreams

I am Zela Ferrer, having a normal life and living the best as I could. After the days full of work, finally, I will be able to take a vacation in our province to visit Lola Stella, because she will celebrate her birthday this month and since I have some savings, I want her birthday to be memorable. Lola Stella has been my ally in everything, she stood up for my Mom and Dad when Mom and Dad were abroad to work, and now I want to repay everything she did for me . I immediately got up and took a shower, because I was on my way to work to file for vacation leave, I was allowed so I went home right away. I can't wait to see Lola Stella again, it's been a while since I last visit her. "Ms. Zela, bought me some souvenirs, okay?" Nina said. "Me too, Ms. Zela, I heard that there are many delicious treats in Batangas." Archie said. "It's like I'm going to another country, you really asked for a souvenirs. But go ahead, I'll give it to you when I came back." My answer. We will miss you Ms. Zela." Said by Nina with a sad face. "Come back right away!" Archie added. The three of us are close at work, they are like my siblings, that's why we treat each other that way. I have already packed what I will bring. I immediately reserved my seat from Manila to Batangas because I was excited to see Lola, I really miss her. I've been away from her for quite some time since I went to college and I worked, I haven't visited her not even once since I'm a bit busy but I call her every day and say hello. During the ride I felt sleepy so I decided to take a nap. I woke up, I sleep a bit too much because when I woke up I was already here at the terminal of Lola's province, I immediately got off in case this bus took me to Manila again. After I got off, I immediately saw a tricycle, I had to ride the tricycle because Grandma's house is still quite far from the terminal. I immediately got on the tricycle and told the man the location to get off. When I said that, I watch outside observing the places we pass by. Lola's province is still densely populated and you will see very few people here. Maybe because I arrived late at night. You can see so many trees around and because of that I can't help but be scared and nervous as I look at it. After 30 minutes, I arrived at Lola's house, 'Finally, I missed the place I immediately paid the tricycle driver because I'm really excited to see Grandma. "Grandma! How are you?" I greeted happily while doing a bless, when I caught her waiting outside the door. ( Bless is a sign of respect to elders, here in the Philippines.) "I'm fine granddaughter, how are you? You're so big already. Grandma misses you so much." Lola's greeting "I missed you too La, I'm sorry, cause I just visited you just now, there's so much work that's why I can't visit before." I said. When I entered, dinner was already served on the table, Aunt and Uncle were also there with their children. Everyone happily greeted each other and made plans for Grandma's upcoming birthday. "Zela, is that really you? You're so big I can't believe my nephew is working. I've missed you!" Tita said. "I've miss you all too!" I said, and they hugged me tightly at the same time. After a while, Lola fell asleep in our conversation and because of that I decided to arranged my things in the room. I cleaned my body first before lying on the bed and read the books I left here, soon I also fell asleep due to the long ride earlier. A mysterious place, leaves rustling around caused by the wind in the trees, continuous flow of water in the waterfall, chirping of birds. I found myself focused in one direction, I couldn't figure out what this place was or where I was. A male voice kept calling my name. I was terrified, I couldn't figure out where that sound was coming from. Because there was no one in the area, I went around the area and there was no one in the area, only myself, soon I got tired of walking so I stopped for a while. The voice disappeared as I walked around I thought it would end there but I heard it over and over again.
