''This is unbelievable,'' Alpha Joshua responded with disbelief after I had explained everything to him.
With a deep sigh, I sipped my coffee, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to fall on my cheek. For a strange reason, I was feeling heartbroken.
''Are you okay?'' He asked while taking my hand from the table. I didn't give him a response, rather I looked away, doing my best to avoid his gaze and keep my mind blank so that he wouldn't read through me.
