Curious, I walked into the sitting room and met Beta Jayson talking to aunt Cara, but he stopped when he noticed my presence.
''You are back.'' Beta Jayson spoke with a fragile smile, ''Why are you still here? It's almost 8 pm.'' I asked, and he sighed tired before responding, ''Something came up that needs my attention.'' He explained, and just then, I saw a maid handing a bowl of hot water to a guard.
''Is something wrong?'' I asked Aunt Cara, and she responded by shaking her head, ''just have some rest; you look tired,'' She replied with a weak smile, which confirmed something was definitely wrong.
