“Huh? What do you mean?” Aiden asked in shock as he looked at the doctors who had gripped him tightly. “We finally caught one of those people that wouldn't pay us thereby, making us run at a loss. Do they think this hospital is a charity?” Aiden laughed shortly instead. Even if he had the money, he did not think he was entitled to give them! “I have to pay up my debt?” He asked in shock. He was not even given a proper room to begin with. “Of course.” “I wasn't even checked into a room.” “You were checked upon by our doctors because there was no guardian for you and besides, our hospital was so full that we could only accept VIPs!” The nurse said as she gritted her teeth. She could not believe that she was wasting her time with a loser. “I have money to give you. Just hold on!” Aiden said, surprised that everything had happened within a twinkle of an eye. Even though they did not deserve the money, he knew this was the beginning of fulfilling the system's wishes. “You have money to give us? With how tattered you are?” One of the security personnel said in anger. Now that he was around, they were not going to let him go! How dare he? “How much am I owing you?’ Aiden said. Maybe this was the perfect opportunity to use the money that ‘thing’ had given him. “Just for your stay alone, you are owing an amount of two thousand dollars!” The nurses said curtly and stared at him. As usual, they were expecting him to beg for his life since that was usually their second option for those that were honest and didn't escape. “Just two thousand dollars?” Aiden muttered and almost immediately, he was taken to the cashier's office where he transferred the total sum. On a normal day, Aiden knew that he would have begged for his life since he could never afford that amount of money but now, with what he had, he was loaded! “What?” Everyone gasped and looked at Aiden the moment the machine beeped. They all looked at each other simultaneously. As soon as Aiden was about to leave, the security personnel grabbed him immediately. “You probably stole that money from a rich man, huh? How dare you? People like you are meant to remain in the slums!” The doctor thundered while Aiden looked at him in confusion. Wasn't it money they wanted? How could they accuse him of being a thief? Even while he was very poor, he had never for once stolen anything from anyone. How could they think that he was poor? “Call the cops. We just found one of them!” What Aiden did not know was that a similar occurrence of people stealing money in the hospital was becoming rampant and on seeing how tattered and dirty Aiden looked, they were definitely sure that he was one of them. “I am not a thief. Let me go! Please!” He said, pleading. When he was poor, he never for once got to the cops office and not to talk of now that he was suddenly wealthy. {Let them see your account details!} Almost immediately, Aiden brought out his phone. “You can see that my brother transferred this amount of money to me today. I did not steal anyone's money!” Aiden said. Only then was the phone snatched from him and after thorough checking, he was finally set free. As soon as Aiden walked out of the hospital, he laughed hysterically. Who would have believed that he would be rich overnight? He thought and laughed again. Was this not the same reason his girlfriend had to break up with him over the phone? He thought and stopped for a while. Didn't the system let him know that he would get richer the moment he completed his task? Does that mean that if he fulfilled the system's wishes, something better would come through? He thought in excitement as his eyes twitched. He walked out of the hospital with his face radiating with pure joy as his eyes sparkled with fireworks. He was about to flag down a cab when he glanced at a car shop. However, it turned out that Aiden had always wished he would get a car some days but it seemed like it was a mission fulfilled. Now that he had a lot of money, he could get as much as he wanted! Alec thought with a smile laced on his face as he found his footsteps retracing towards the place. The eagles car shop was a place that only the wealthiest of the wealthy could patronize and that was because they only sold limited cars that no other car shop ever dreamed of selling. At first, he became intimidated with the fleet of cars that had come around to check out the cars around and looked at himself for a while. However, without thinking twice, he walked inside. The sales attendant on duty had been so happy to have seen a lot of customers that had tipped her with a lot of money while they made their payment and the moment she looked up after a tap on her keyboard, she was shocked to see a crazy man stand in front of the cars as he touched it with a smile on her face. Almost immediately, she became so infuriated as she left the counter and walked towards Aiden. “Get your hands off our cars! What the hell do you think you are doing?” She growled slowly as she clenched her fist. She knew what could happen to her if this crazy man was found here when she was on duty. However, Aiden looked at her with a smile on his face. He was too excited that he overlooked the tone she had used to talk to him. “I am here to get a car. I did not realize that I could not touch it anyhow” He said and turned around to see that the wealthy men also touched it while the other sales attendant smiled at them. Then, a frown slowly crept on his face as he looked at the woman. “You are here to get a car?” She asked. That was the most absurd thing she had ever heard, especially when it came from a homeless man. Did this man think that just anyone could come here? “Others examine the car with their hands on it. Why's mine different?” He asked in shock while the woman gritted her teeth and brought out her ph one to dial a contact. “There's an intruder in here. Please send in the security!”
