The only time Nyx had been this scared was when Mikka had disappeared and he couldn’t find his mate anywhere. Now here he was again, drowning in fear as Mandrake checked Mikka out once again.
“I can’t find anything wrong with him. Tell me again what happened.” Mandrake ordered.
“We were talking and Mikka had told me something…”
“You must be precise if I’m going to help him.” Mandrake stated firmly.
Turning to see Or, Miller, Marco, Darlene, and Calvin standing there, Nyx requested, “Can we maybe talk alone?”
Shaking his head, Mandrake replied, “I have a feeling what you discussed needs to be heard by all in this room.”
