She rolled over, fumbled her feet into her slippers, and made it to the bathroom in time to empty her stomach. She used a major dose of mouthwash to get the taste out of her mouth, struggled back to her bed and sat on the edge of the mattress, staring at the Kevin Williams semi-nude, at the partially draped woman’s sleek grace and her shimmering black skin, so real that if you touched the painting you almost expected to feel her smooth skin and not paint or canvas.
