February, 2nd 2024 I dont know how i end up in here, my mind completely blurry. Trying to reconnect every single moment that my mind erased. But so far, i can only recall every glimpse from the past that i wish, it was different reality. A glimpse of my mom telling bout her family. My grandmother have three kids, my mom, my uncle and my aunt. They live in a steady happily situation. My grandfather owned a very successful butcher shop, and my grandmother was a principal of a private school in town. In the very beginning of their relationship, it was complete romeo and Juliette romance. My grandfather was just a downtown uneducated peniless man and my grandmother was a silver spoon brilliant uptown girl. That time, having a college degree is something that really rare even for a woman. But there she is, a shining star amongs all women in the neighborhood with her clever mind and her carrier in teachings. They are quite the opposite world that collapse into one. Love, at leats that's the reason.. They managed their life in few years after marriage. As my mom always said that she felt like she's living in a movie where everything is so perfect. She bragged that she had new toy every day, she bragged that she had the biggest barbie's dream house among her friends. Her bedroom was really big, painted into pink and furnished with all good stuff like in one of those telenovela her mother watched. But one day, my grandfather choose to fall in love with another woman. His regular costumer, the pretty young girl that just had her 16th birthday. It all started with a simple conversation they had in the shop, talking bout weather, life or everything harmless. I won't be surprised if this gal happens to enjoy her time with my grandfather, he have a good looking jaw line with a touch of manly body figure. Surely, every woman's weakness. All the harmless started to turn into something else, something sinful and ashamed like what people would comment back at that day. They sneak out to go on a date when no body's watching, or when my grandmother was at school, same as my mom and her two siblings. my grandmother wasn't a fool, she knew that her husband having an affair with this gal. But i never exactly understand, why she never confronted them or at least try to make a scene. Either lack of courage or just blinded by her idea of love. One day, my mom came back from school early. Her dad was supposed to pick her up but she waited too long then she decided to just walk by herself. She thought, her dad must be so busy at the shop or something else. But it was actually something else, my mom opened the door found her dad was playing the forbidden dance with that gal. She was only 7 years old that time, and she didn't understand what she saw But her mind always recall that day for the rest of her life. Just like how i remember every little reckless decision that i picked that lead me here, all alone and confused.
