Chapter 6: Late Meeting

723 Words
The ride home felt much longer than it did this morning. As I stared out the window and everything passing by so quickly a thought crept into my head. What on earth am I going to wear? What does a person even where to late night meetings? All of a sudden I am freaked out, I wish I could buy something but I didn’t have the time or money right now. Well I will have to raid my cupboards to find something suitable I thought as I tried to calm myself. The cab stopped in front of the apartment block. It is quite small in comparison with the surrounding apartments. It is not fenced in, it is almost like small houses situated in close proximity to each other. My door is red, I painted it that way when I moved in 5 years ago, with an herb box underneath the only visible window that overlooked the parking lot. As I approached the door, a package was out front with a card that read “Miss Pugg.” I was so excited I quickly picked up the black bag and quickly unlock the door and head inside. The note continued on the inside “Because it was so short noticed.” I unzipped the bag and a beautiful and vibrant red dress came to show. It’s bold but still elegant. I quickly took my clothes of and hopped into the shower. As the water caresses my body the thought of him having my boob in his hand came to mind. I let the water run completely over my head and body. My body started feeling warm and wanted, I slowly moved my hands over my boobs imagining it was Austin touching me again. My hand moved from the one to the other and slowly moving downwards, as I slide my finger in between my lips, chills go through my body. I craved the touch and as I was about to continue the sound of my alarm beeps. Oh no! I am going to be late. I quickly jumped out of the shower and dried my hair letting my body air dry.  I looked at myself in the mirror as I am applying a few touches of make-up. The matte burgundy lipstick made my lips look fuller and it accompanied the dress very well. A spritz of my sweet and spicy perfume and I should be done, I thought. I spray the perfume in the air and walk through it and there, I was done! The door bell rang. Suddenly the nerves started to overwhelm me again and my heart started beating uncontrollably. I finally opened the door and it’s not him but the driver. I grab my purse and lock up. As I reached out to open the door the driver insists that he do it. I get in and there he was, in a dark grey suit and red shirt that goes with my dress. “You look amazing” he says while staring at me as if just saw a ghost. “How did you know my size?” I ask before even thanking him for the dress. “I have my ways” he said with a naughty smile on his face. “Well thank you” I finally managed to say. We drove all the way there in silence, each staring out a window avoiding eye contact as much as possible. The car comes to a halt right in front of this ocean side restaurant. As I get out of the car I realised that I did not bring a shawl as the cool air breezed down my open shoulders. We walk inside and the restaurant was empty. I look at him confused and he places his jacket over my shoulders. “That should keep you warm" he said while leading me to a table. The view is amazing, the restaurant floor turned into glass and the clear blue ocean was now visible with waves smashing onto it. He pulls out a chair and I sit down. A waiter brings over a bottle of wine and disappears again. “Are we early?” I asked nervously. He shook his head “everyone that needs to be here is here. There is certain rules regarding this position that needs to be laid down and if you are not comfortable with them you may say no thank you.”
