“You should not be here.” A gruff male voice said. “This is a really bad time to decide to go to church. You are not safe here right now. Which makes this affront particularly egregious. A church should be a sanctuary.” The bell had stopped ringing. “Why is there no one here?” Sarah asked. “Where are all the priests?” “Did you not hear me?” The man wearing an old fashioned suit who was leaning on an intricately decorated cane said. As he approached them Sarah was surprised by how much younger he looked than she had expected. “You need to leave here.
