The lost crew: A tale of mystery by: Emily Campbell

(the story opens on a beautiful sunrise and it begins to zoom in slowly on a ship that gives of pirate vibe) Once upon a time there was a ship in a beautiful kingdom with a crew that was practically made for sailing. They would set out of amazing adventures and return with piles of gold. They would sail around the world discovering new places and foods and animals. They lived the perfect lives. (The slow zoom in stops on a young woman in her mid 20’s. She is writing in a journal.) Ok, that's enough of those far fetched tales. It’s time for me to get back to reality. Hello my name is Amelia Crocker, and I am not an ordinary woman. The year is currently 1899, as most of you well know women were not expected to do anything except sit at home watching children and embroidering things. Well to most people who know me I am not one of those women. I am strong, smart, and cunning. My specialty skills are unique. I am small for my age and I am able to move almost silently, which is why my nickname on this ship is Shadow. I was hired by this man who is also considered to be strange because he doesn't care that I am a woman, in fact I am not the only one that he hired. All that this man cares about is who is the best in their job field. We have yet to meet this man; those of us on this ship only know his name. His name was written on our invitations for this expedition and it is whispered like a ghost around the ship. The name they whisper is Zephyr Grey.
