Chapter 7

Scarlet's POV

I wanted my family back even if I had to forgive my father.

Walking closer to Crystal, I stood right in front of her.

"I think you should leave" I warned. I wanted her out of here. She was not needed here and I couldn't risk her hurting me and my child.

"As far as people know I'm the missing daughter of Dylan and they welcomed me with open arms, so I think I should be saying that to you. As fast as people know your name is Scarlet Jonson and not Adrianna. You fathers company will burn to the ground if you reveal yourself to everyone here, asking questions like why did you run away and why are you hiding. Do you really want to answer them Adrianna?" She said with a smirk.

I so wanted to slap that smirk off her lips. She did have a point though, I'm not ready to reveal what really happened to me, the only people knew was me, my dad, and Valerie. Many may know my dad hit me and classed it as a***e but no one knew what really happened.

"You can't keep your scheme up Crystal and I'll make sure you get a taste of your own medicine." I stepped closer to her and whispered "You will never have Xavier, you want to know why? Because I'm having his baby" only she could hear what I said and I'm glad no one was near her. She looked down at my stomach and gasped with a surprised look, but didn't say anything after that.

After saying that I took Xavier's hand, said a quick goodbye to my cousins but ignored my father as he's still in a state of shock, and took our leave. We headed to Xavier's car and I climbed in the passenger seat silently waiting for Xavier to get in and drive.

When he got in I knew he had a lot to ask but I wasn't ready to answer his questions.

"Don't..... I'll tell you when I'm ready"

He stayed silent for awhile then broke the silence.

"I know you don't want to talk about it but I just have to ask. Are you ok." Even though I wasn't looking at him I could hear worry in his tone. But I couldn't answer him knowing that if I did I'd burst into tears, so I do the only logical thing to do; I nod.

Xavier's POV

Its been a week now since I found out Scarlet was the missing daughter of Dylan Grey and her real name was Adrianna. Scarlet only started working again yesterday after the whole 'revelation', I had started calling her Ria but sometimes I would call her Scarlet or Ari but she didn't mind and would answer to all. She still hasn't talked to me about the party but I didn't want to pressure her so I never asked or brought it up.

It's now a Friday and me and Scarlet we're making our way to my parents house because my father called yesterday and told me to have dinner with them so I took that as an opportunity to introduce Scarlet to them. Scarlet, of course, wasn't happy with the idea of meeting my parents but eventually gave in.

30 minutes later we arrived at my parents house and I was about to get out when I saw Scarlet shaking a bit and I knew she was nervous. I placed my hand above her cupped hands to sooth her.

"Hey it's going to be ok, I'm here, I won't say anything until your ready" I knew she knew what I meant and to this she just nodded. So I went out the car and made my way to Scarlets side to help her get out. Hand in hand we made our way to the front door.

"Jace your here" Mother welcomed when she opened the door.

"Of course mother" I gave her a small smile. My mother was nice and supportive to me but she could be a diva when she wanted to be. I saw my father walking towards us and stood net to my mother.

"Xavier who is this?" - Father

"Well hello to you to father, this is My girlfriend" I introduced Scarlet and I knew all hell was about to break lose.

"You bought this gold digging w***e to our family dinner!?" - Father

"I'm warning you father. Watch what you say or you might just regret it later" I sneered.

"Regret what?! The only thing I'll regret is welcoming her into our home!" - Father

"Dear why don't you calm down and get a glass of water, Jace why don't you both come in and sit in the living room so we could talk" - Mother

Mother was always the understanding one. She knew I was serious about Scarlet enough to bring her and fight my father for her. We did as she said and sat in the living room, Scarlet was still so quiet. Mother sat in-front of us and father sat next to her.

This is how our conversation went, (Sorry it's late and I'm getting sleepy)

"I will not accept her! You are engaged to be married to the Greys daughter you know that!" - Father

"I will marry Scarlet"

"Don't test me boy" - Father

"You have no say in who I marry father and I say I will marry Scarlet!"

To this father stood up and drew his and and slapped me, surprising not only me but Scarlet to.

"You are to marry the Greys daughter or I will take your company away from you!" - Father

To this Scarlet stood up. She looked like she had enough and faced my father I don't like this one bit, and I have a feeling this isn't going to end well.

"I love your son sir and I will marry him" she was accepting what he said marrying the Greys daughter but my father didn't know who she really was but I have a feeling he soon will....

"You are way over your head lady! My son will not marry a low life w***e like you!" -Father

"Then I guess your deal with the Grey Group of Companies is off" she said calmly. To this my father looked confuse.

Oh boy here we go. I looked at Scarlet and she looked at me nodding and I knew then that it was the right time.

"Father meet my fiance Adrianna Grey" I said with the utmost confident and looked at father dead in the eyes.

"You didn't even ask my name before you jumped to conclusions. You cannot take Xavier's company from him, he worked night and day to build that company and I will not let you take it down. You mess with Royce Air Ways, your also messing with Grey Group Of Companies. I had no interest in taking over my fathers company but if your threatening Xavier's company then no matter what my problem is with my father I will take over the GGC empire just to see you fall. I suggest you think about your actions because I will bury your families name so deep into the ground that people wont know who you are SIR". Scarlet was scary as f**k when shes mad.

Everyone who's anyone knows not to mess with the GGC's but my father just had a front row seat with the heir and directly insulted her without questioning. From the looks on my father he looked like he saw a ghost.

My fathers eyes went wide and looked like they were going to come out.

"I don't want anything to do with you sir for you just insulted me before you even got to know me. You were dead set on marrying your son the the heir of GGC just to get the investment and fame? Xavier worked hard for that company and I am going to do everything I can to help him WITHOUT you. I ran away from my father and no one will ever understand why but one reason was he was money hungry and power hungry. He wanted to use me like a computer and I was only 9. Looks can be deceiving Mr. Royce but that doesn't mean you have the right to judge me. It just so happened that the daughter of The GGC you want your son to marry is his actual girlfriend.

But if that wasn't the case, I'd be really sorry for the girl who got you as her father-in-law because all you want is power. I love Xavier and that's the reason I would want to marry him not some business tie that would benefit your company. And don't you dare say everything I said was wrong because both you and I know I'm smarter then you will ever be." Scarlet said with confidence dripping from her voice, this side of her was turning me on. I didn't expect her to tell them so soon but I guess I'm glad.

I watched her stand up to my father looking calm and collected but after a minute passed she started to sway I moved closer to her and caught her in time as she lost consciousness. I picked her up and payed her on the sofa checking if she was ok. This was scaring the s**t out of me.
