Chapter 9

Scarlet's POV

I was so happy Jace (she started calling him Jace) wasn't angry with me for hiding the fact I was carrying his child. He was over the moon that I was pregnant with his heir and that I was the one he was really going to marry.

I kept in touch with Taylor and Brian because they were the ones looking after GGC, while 'he' still worked there its mostly Ian and Troy that manages the business and 'he' just goes to important meetings. I cam to know from Troy that my father gave me the business when I turned 18, the day I ran away. GGC was rightfully mine but I told my two cousins to look after it for a while, while I was still sorting things out. Ian also told me that Crystal left the mansion and with the money my father gave her she bought a penthouse suit in one of the hotels GGC owned, I bet she doesn't even know who owns it.

There is also news going round that Crystal started to introduce herself as the heir to the GGC which got my blood boiling but I know noone can tell her otherwise without rising up questions to the press on my past. I am still waiting for the right time and I think I just found it....

Its been 2 days since Xavier knew I was pregnant and with alot of arguing, he managed to convince me to live with him and to my surprise V wasn't angry about it. She said she would visit me often and that she had something to tell me the next time we see each other.

I was now Sunday and Jace said his parent were having a party of a merger with a company, he didn't tell me witch company but I soon found out it was mine. Even if I hadn't started working in GGC yet Ian and Troy still keep me updated on thing and they told me we had an invitation to the party with I told the to accept and to attend but not to reveal my identity yet.

Here I am pacing the room waiting for Jace to come back from sorting the car out because earlier today we went baby shopping and bought a crib and paint and all sorts for the nursery.

"You look amazing babe" a voice pulled me out of my thoughts and I turned around to see he was leaning on the door fame looking ravishing in his Navy blue suit.

"ready?" he asked lifting his and and reaching for mine.

I took one last look in the mirror. I was wearing a one shoulder baby pink long dress that hid my baby bump, I wasn't ready to reveal I was pregnant just yet, light make up and my hair was down in lose curls.

"Yeah lets go" I took his hand and he lead the way to the car. The car ride was silent I was feeling to nervous to start a conversation. It took about 30 mins to get to his parents house, stepping out I spotted Ian and Troys car was already here so they must be inside already.

Xavier took my hand and lead me inside to the garden where the party was being held. Straight away I saw Xavier's father talking to Crystal?! I though she would be here and tell people she was the heir that was to wed Xavier, she had another thing coming.

I will not hide anymore, I am not scared any more.

It has been 2 years and in that time, I have forgiven my father for what he has done. I never hated him, I love my father and its time to give him a change again.

Xavier's POV

We walked into the garden area where I saw alot of guest but my eye caught the figure of my father talking to Crystal.

How dare she come here!

I was about to walk over to them when Scarlet held my hand. I looked up to her and she shuck her head and mouthed 'I'm ready' with a smile. I knew what she ment and it put a smile on my face, she was going to reveal who she was to everyone.

We walked to my father hand in hand. We stopped behind Crystal and my father stopped mid sentence.

"Father" I greeted him and the look on his face he was not happy I bought Scarlet. Well he's about to get a run for his money.

"Xavier this is an elite party why did you bring your toy?" he said through gritted teeth. To this Crystal was grinning from ear to ear.

'Not for long s**t'

"If this is an elite party, then what is this trash doing here" I pointed to Crystal who, for a split second, had a nervous expression but covered it up faster then it came.

"She is the lost daughter of Dylan Grey and not the w***e your standing next to. Everyone here has said she was the heir so you can't fool me Xavier, even her cousins came to support her." Father fired at me causing my blood to boil and the choice of his word for describing Scarlet.

Scarlet's hold on my hand tightened and I knew what she was about to do. She stepped infront of Crystal and raised her hand slapping Crystal hard on the face.

"What are you doing?" Crystal shouted causing everyone to stop talking and looked in our direction.

---Sorry I just got back from vacation and still jet lagged so this is how the convo is going---

"I never thought you'd stoop this low" - Scarlet

"You b***h" - Crystal said raising her hand but Scarlet caught it.

"I told you once, you'll only embarrass yourself if you continue this. Your a gold digging w***e and you will go down by my hands" - Scarlet said with venom in her voice that even made me shiver.

"Who do you think you are to come into an Elite party and hurt and threaten the top 1 elite!" my fathers angry voice boomed through the garden.

Everyone was now surrounding us with Scarlet's cousins on the side of Crystal but smiled because they knew what was going to happen.

"I am who I said I was, your just too stupid to believe I am right" - Scarlet

"What did you call me?! You are a worthless trash that can't make a living so you stuck to my son like glue and used his money to get you power! You are a disgrace to your family! You don't even have money or own a business to be at this party.! "- Father

"You should just leave, your not wanted here!" - Crystal

"That's where your wrong. I told you once that you should not judge a person by just looking at them. Now you have embarrassed yourself infront of people you think high and mighty of. Your pride took you to the level of the girl you call the Greys heir, but is she really?" Scarlet sneered. I knew she was hanging by a thread and to be honest I don't really care what happens to my father. I my self would kill him if he harms my child and my wife to be.

"Thats enough Mr Royce" Taylor said walking towards my father and standing in between Scarlet and my father.

"Why are you protecting her? She is nothing to you, she is nothing. She's just a lousy gold digger clinging onto my son!" - Father

"Watch what you say!" I knew Taylor was getting angry by now so I reached for Scarlet's hand but she suddenly held Taylor's shoulder, holding him back I presume.

"Calm down Troy, don't wast your energy on him. He's not worth it." Scarlet said calmly.

"I can do this though. I remove all ties, investments, treaty with all the contracts that's under Mr Royce. I don't want any ties with him" I heard people around us gasp. I was shocked she said that. Though even she removed those ties that doesn't affect my company because my company was self built and have my own investments with the GGC. She must know it won't affect my company at all in any way but it does affect my father and his wealth. His house is under the name of the GGC so with Scarlet removing the ties, the house belongs to her.

"You b***h! who are you to make that demand!!!" If it was possible, there would be smoke coming out of fathers nose and ears because of how red he is.

Brian steps next to Taylor to protect their cousin. Crystal was fuming by now and ready to slap her way out of here. Everyone was looking at us now listening into the argument some were even filming it.

"She told you who she was but you just judged her! Why don't you ask Crystal who the real heir is!" Brian shouted.

My father turned to Crystal with a questioning look. He should of listened to Ari in the first place, now he's lost not only his contracts but his wealth. He should of just listened to me.

"Crystal what is all this" Dylan Grey walked up to us. I didn't even know he was here.

"Mr Grey its good your here, tell this delusional girl to leave immediately as she does not fit into here. HAHA she keeps telling lies about how she is your daughter." My father replied instead of Crystal and pointed to Ari. He had the nerve of calling Ari a lier. Even if he is my father I would punch that smile of his face.

"Father" Scarlet spoke up. It was calm and sincere, she had tears in her eyes and a warm smile was on her face.

This surprised us all because we all know that Ari hates her father for what he has done to her.... But seeing her face now I know for a fact that she has forgiven her father for all the years of his a***e. The girl infront of me has a heart of gold and is willing to forgive anyone.

Dylan froze in his spot next to Crystal and my father and looked at his daughter. He too had tears in his eyes for this is the first time his daughter has called him father for a long time. He slowly walked towards Ari with teary eyes and shaky hand. This action surprised my father and all he could do was watch the scene unfold before his own eyes.
