The lost boy

Drake and Shelby took me hunting, they wanted to see how fast I could run so they took off and I followed. It was amazing to run free I passed them in like two seconds and kept going. I ran until I smelled the most delicious smell I have ever smelled before. I followed the smell until I saw what was making the smell, it was a little boy around Donnie’s age sitting under a tree holding his arm and crying. I slowly walked over to him and asked him what happened.
“I ran away from my dad and brothers because they were making fun of me and I got attacked my a cougar, I haven’t been able to move since I’m scared I might get attacked by the other animals.”
“Where is your family?”
“About a hundred miles that way I think.”
“Alright you stay put I am going to go get you help.”
“Don’t leave me please.”
“I have to go get help I’ll be back before you can count to one thousand.”
“You promise?”
“Yes.” I said as I took off in the direction I came from I ran until I ran into Drake and the others.
“There you are where did you go?”
“No time to talk little boy no older than Donnie is hurt really super bad we need to help him.”
“Ok I’ll go get the first aide kit and make sure Donnie is sleeping, he can’t come into the sun yet. I’ll be right back.”
Blake took off to get the first aid and as he got back they followed me until they knew where they were going when they smelled the blood.
“You came back, just like you promised.”
“Yes I did and we are going to help you, lets wrap that arm so you can rest it. And the two of us are going to try and find your family. What is your name?”
“Tucker McDonald.”
“My name is Blake that is Shelby, Drake, and Nikki is the one who found you. Drake and Nikki will stay with you while we go find your family.”
“Drake you have your cell phone just in case we need to talk.”
“Yes.”
Blake and Shelby took off and left us alone with Tucker, we made sure Tucker was warm and had some food that we brought, I gave him my jacket so he was warm and he fell asleep on my shoulder.
“You must be starving you haven’t had any blood since you turned, I’ll be right back.” Drake left to get me animal blood, he came back carrying a cougar it smelled like the same one that attacked Tucker I could smell his blood under the nails of it. I drank until there was no more blood Drake tossed the cougar in a bush and sat next to me. We talked for awhile and then we fell asleep, I woke up the next morning with Drake missing and Tucker still passed out. I got up slowly to see where Drake was found him shirtless by the lake. I stopped where I was and quietly watched as he under dressed all the way down to him being naked. He got into the lake and all I could do was stare. I quietly undressed my self and got into the lake with him.
“We could get into so much trouble if your brother finds us like this.”
“I don’t care what my brother says I love you and I want to make love to you right here right now.”
“If we do this we can communicate through mind, I will know where you are at all times, and unlike werewolves if there mate dies they die, if one of us dies we just keep on living and find love again. Do you still want this.”
“Yes.”
Who knew vampires could breathe and scream under water, Drake showed me that we could as he played with me and made love to me. It was the most magical experience I have had in awhile. We got out and got dressed to go check on Tucker.
“Drake he is burning up I think his arm is infected have you heard anything from my brother?”
“No not yet, I’ll try and get him to wake up if not we are going to the hospital and we can call Blake and Shelby on the way.”
“I agree.”
We couldn’t get Tucker awake so we ran until we were about a mile or two away from a hospital I called Blake to tell him which hospital we are at and Drake convinced some guy to let us borrow his car, so it looked like we arrived in a car instead of running two hundred miles to the nearest hospital. We came into the emergency room and asked for help.
“Somebody help!”
“What happened?”
“We were walking in the woods up in big bear when we found him, he was attacked by a cougar he was awake when we found him he told us his name was Tucker McDonald, he tired to get up but fell back down he has lost a lot of blood.”
“Thank you we will take it from here. You might have just saved his life, do you know where his family is or his blood type?”
“His parents are on the way and he’s O negative.”
“Thank you let’s move.”
“I need to tell you something.”
“What?”
“Shelby may be able to smell if we had sex.”
“I have a question for you.”
“Yes love.”
“Can I still have kids?”
“Absolutely vampires can reproduce just as well as anybody else.”
“Good cause I want a family.”
“Nikki! Drake!.”
“Blake, we are over here.”
“How is he?”
“Okay where is Shelby and his parents?”
“There coming we just had a little problem.”
“What kind of problem?”
“Well, Donnie kind of followed us to the family I don’t know how he found us, but they saw him drinking blood and got scared of us. Shelby had to convince them that we weren’t animals and that their son was in trouble we needed to get to the hospital as soon as we could. They finally believed us we sedated Donnie and threw him in the trunk of a car to keep him out of the sun.”
“Oh dear, we can take him home.”
“No you two stay here we will take him home I need to call mom and tell her an excuse for why you can’t come home right away.”
“Nothing too dangerous they will flip I am their last baby at home you know.”
“I know see you soon I hope, Drake take care of her.”
“You know I will.”
“Your son was just taken into surgery follow us we will take you to the surgical waiting room.”
“Thank you two so much for saving our boy we owe you whatever you want it’s yours.”
“NO ma’am we don’t want anything we have everything we need but thank you.”
“Suit yourself.”
