Alpha Holland’s visit

Skyler's POV

I was half way to the lake when I felt Gio's Wolf Chase get close to me. "Where are you going man? You have Carly freaking out. Jake was walking her to the room when I left to find you." He mind linked me. "She wants to go back to clear the water pack so that the women of the pack want to be hurt, and she wants me to mate and mark her, so just incase Alpha Holland takes her." I growled through the mind link as we made it to the lake.

"So you are telling me that your mate was freaking out and offering to go back to a pack that treats women worse than a slave or a dog. Instead of showing her that she is safe and that we will figure out a way to help the women of Clearwater pack, you lost your temper and ran out of the house?" Gio growled back at me. I could tell that he was pissed that I had hurt his Luna.

"No 1st, I yelled at her that she was mine and that she was not going anywhere, then I left for a run." I linked back very weakly, knowing I was wrong. By this time, we were on our way back to the packhouse. Damon was pissed at me as well. I was mad at myself. I should have talked to Carly instead of losing my temper and running away like a child. When we reached the packhouse, Allysa was outside with a change of clothes. She handed them to me and turned and walked away without talking to me. If I didn't know that I was wrong, I would haven't know.

" Stupid Ass!" she yelled, closing the door. As I walked up the stairs, Damon started to get agitated. "What is it man? You are going to give me a headache." I asked him, "Mate!" is all he said. I ran the rest of the way. I went to the room. She was not in the bedroom but I could feel and smell her nearby. Went to the bathroom door. It was locked. Banging on the door and yelling " Carly are you in there? Baby, please open the door, please answer me!" "Yes I am in here, I am getting out."Carly finally answers me. "Carly, I need to talk to you. Can I please come in or you come out here?" I asked with pain in my voice, that I was not trying to hide from her.

The door opened about three minutes later, she was standing there with nothing but a towel. Damon came forward but I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath, pushing him back. When I opened them she had moved passed me to get dressed. " Carly, I am sorry for losing my temper. I was not mad at you, I was pissed that he was making you feel like you don't have any other choice. I don't want to mate and mark you so that your old alpha can't get you. I want you to want me to mate and mark you." I told her as I handed her my shirt to put on over her panties.

She just stands there looking at me. " Am I forgiven?" I ask, giving her my puppy eyes. "Yes my mate, you are forgiving," she says as she places a kiss on my lips and pulls me to our bed. I pull her to me. As we start to fall asleep, Damon says " I will show you that I can be a good mate."

Carly's POV

I could not sleep after hearing what Skyler said as he fell to sleep. "Why does he think that he is not a good mate? He is perfect." I asked Tessa. She just shook her head, not knowing why he thought that. When I thought that he was deep in sleep, I got up and went downstairs. I needed to think and cleaning had always did that. I don't know how long I was cleaning when I felt a pair of arms around me. I jumped up when the sparks went over my skin. "Baby what are you doing down here at 3 am cleaning?" Skyler asked. While he looked all around the room,

" I hope that the kitchen staff does not get mad at me for moving some stuff around. I clean and reorganize when I am stressed and have a lot to think about." I said to him as I finished cleaning the icebox. " Baby what's going on with you? Is there something wrong? Just tell me what it is and I will fix it." He says as he takes the cleaning stuff from me.

We walked back to the bedroom. I came in to talk to him. He got in and pulled me to him. "I want to know why you say every night that you will show me how you will be a good mate. You are already a good mate. You let my family join the pack. I am the one who needs to prove that I am a good mate and worthy of being this pack’s Luna.” I said as I walked to the window looking at the moon. He just stood there looking at me like I lost my mind.

He walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around me while placing his head on my neck. “Baby. you don’t have to prove anything. I already know you are perfect for me and this pack. The moon goddess does not make mistakes. I will say those things to you as a vow to you and myself. I want you to know that I will do everything to make sure you are loved and safe.” Skyler says as we stand there looking up.

Skyler’s POV “We should talk with her about mating and marking before the alpha meeting in two weeks.” Damon said to me. “I will tomorrow, let’s go to sleep”, I answered before cutting the link. “ baby let’s get some more sleep.” I said as I pulled Carly to the bed. She falls asleep as soon as her head hits the pillow.

“Alpha!” I got a link from the guards. “Yes!” I growled and throw the link. “Alpha Holland is here to speak with you. Do you want us to let him in?” He asked. “ Yes, let him in!” “Carly baby whispered I have to go to a meeting,sleep and I will be back.” I whispered to her. She just waved her hand to me. I arrived at the front door as Alpha Holland pulled up. “Hello Alpha Holland. What did I do to get this unexpected visit?” I asked as Damon paced in my mind.

“I want to talk to you about Carly Ann and her family.” Alpha Holland stated so coldly. “Let’s go to my office!” I said through my teeth. I linked Gio and Russell. “ You and Russell my office now!” “Yes Alpha”, they both said. They arrived minutes after we walked in. “So let’s get down to business. I want to get back to my mate before she wakes up.” I said, knowing that he was here to talk about her. “I want you to reject Carly and send her and her family back home!” He demanded as he sat across from me. I heard a growl coming from Russell. “Y’all are not going anywhere”, I linked to him. “Alpha Holland, that is not happening. Russell here is my new Gamma. And there is nothing you can say or do that will make me reject my mate. Carly and her family are MY pack members now!” I growled as I stood up.

“ Let’s ask them what they want” he said, never raising his chair like he thought he knew the answer to the question. “There’s no need but if they were get this mess over fine!” “Carly, Dan, Honey and Jake, please to my office!” I linked them with were minutes they was all there. To say they were shocked to see Alpha Holland was an overprication. “Alpha!” They all say said as they bow to me as Carly walks over to my desk.

I moved back so she could sit on my lap. “What’s going on?”she asked, never taking her eyes off the man standing behind Alpha Holland. “Alpha Holland wants to ask y’all a question. I have told him the answer but he wants to hear from y’all.” I said as I closed my arms around Carly, trying to calm myself. “What is it you want to know?” It was Jake asking. “I have asked Alpha Silverstone to reject Carly Ann and let y’all return home. He said no to it all. But Carly, don’t you want to be home with all of your brothers?” He says, looking at her as the man behind him steps forward. Now I can see that he looks a lot like my Gamma and my Luna, who must be Ben, their oldest brother. “I can not speak for everyone but I am Gamma here and my mate is here. I will not be leaving at all,” Russell said.

“ I will not leave my twin or my Alpha and Luna,” Jake stated. “We are not going back!” Dan answered for him and Honey. Everyone turns to look at Carly and that’s when I notice she is shaking from her anger. “ You have a lot of nerve coming here asking me to reject my mate. The one person who was made for me by the moon goddess. There is no way I will be leaving here with you and no way in hell will I reject my mate.” Carly said.

“Skyler, you have to calm her down if you could see her eyes you would be as scared as the rest of us!” Gio liked me. That’s when I looked at everyone else. They had all backed up to the wall, all of them except for Honey. She just smiled. I turned Carly around. Her eyes had blue flames dancing in them. “What’s going on baby?” I asked her, as she never broke eye contact with Alpha Holland. “She has unlocked a power!” Alpha Holland stated.

“You don’t know what you have or how to control her let me take her!” He screamed and that’s when I saw fear run through her eyes. “Carly looked at me, not him”. She looked at me “ I am not giving you to him” she smiled and her eyes go back to normal. “You have your answers now leave” I said to him. “You will regret this!!!” He yelled as he walked out leaving his Gamma behind. “Is there something I can do for you Gamma Ben?” I asked seeing the sad look in his eyes as he looked at his family. “No just know I have y’all’s back and it want be long. We will be a family again soon.” He smiles and walks out. “ I am worried about him.” Carly hugs me, I just hugged her. “I am too!” Damon says. I can feel heat coming from Carly! I look and everyone is calm. She is smiling until she screams in pain……….
