Carly's POV "Carly Ann, please come back to the real world and out of dream land!" My mother was yelling for me to finish my chores so we could go to the pack house to see my dad at work. My dad is the Gamma of Clear water pack, which makes my mother the Gamma female. Anyone that knows my parents knows that they are head over hills for each other and have been since they found out they were mates 20 years ago. They had my brother Ben 3 years later, the twins Jake and Russell a year later, then 3 years later, they had me. To say that I was loved and really overproduced was an understatement. As I finished my chores, the boys came running in. " Mom mom Mom" they all said at once,"What has yall in an up roar?" Mom asked with a sweet smile, until she seen that Ben, who is normal a happy person look like he had seen death. " Alpha Holland ( Uncle Joe) and Beta Lowe (Uncle Max) are on there way here with dad something bad happen I can tell." Ben said as the three man reached the porch. " Honey, we have company," my father said as he walked in. "Twins and Carly go to your rooms now!" Dad yelled as he saw that we were there too. My dad never yells at me. I can't remember him ever yelling at me. The boys, of course, ran to their room and when I moved out of my parents and the Alpha and Bate's view, they began to talk. " Ok Boys whats going on?" my mom asked with worry all over her face. "We have to protect Carly!" Uncle Joe said with anger coming off him in waves," The alpha of blood moon has made it know that his son Skyler will be looking for his mate and has until his 21st to fine her or he will choose for him." O did I forget to say that I am the only girl to the top 3 ranked people of pack. All my uncles had boys so everyone was happy when I came along. " Ok I understand that is not right for him to do that but what does that have to do with Carly Ann?" my mom trying to hold on to hope that they guys are over reacting. " Carly Ann is 13 and has not even shifted yet. She want be on his radar." "Honey, Skyler is 16 and 5 years he will be 21, in 5 years she will be 18 and able to find her mate, I dont want my only daughter to be apart of that pack, the alpha is evil what of his son is the same way." my dad looked scared and angry at the same time. " What can we do about it?" Ben asked "Well they said he is starting in the north pray that he finds her before Carly reaches 18." Uncle Joe said looking at me. He knew I was there the whole time. I ran in with tears in my eyes " Daddy please don't let them have me!" I cried into his shirt. The room fell quite as they all looked around at each other. No one wants there child to be apart of that pack. Blood moon pack treats women like dirt and i heard they beat the members if you are caught helping someone the alpha is mad at, and killed 1st aked question later. " Carly Ann we will protect you I promise!" Uncle Joe said as everyone nodded in agreement. Skyler's POV "Son please be kind and sweet to your mate. Love her and take care of her better than your dad has me." that was the last thing my mother said to me at the age of 10 when she try to run away from to get help but never made it to the borders before my father found her and snapped her neck. That was the day I stopped believing in love and good over evil. Now I am 16 and my father is sending me out to find my mate, I don't want a mate, she will make me weak and hurt my pack and my father will love that. He calls me weak like my mother and beats me every time he thinks that I may do something to make him look weak or this pack. I rather just pick a mate that way there is no bond to make me weak, but my father want even let me pick he said i have until 21 or he will pick. So off I go..........
