It was already past eight when they were done laughing,mostly caused by making fun of Eric.
Claire asked to go home since her mother was all alone at home. After saying goodbye to Laine, Eric took her back home.
"So you and mom decided to gang up against me?" Eric said.
"No we were just laughing together" said Claire
"Yeah, at my expense"
Claire laughed again "But your mom and dad had a lovable relationship"
"Yeah, they were always sweet to each other. I know they did love each other very much. But then he had cancer and there was nothing we could do about it" said Eric
"Sorry about that" said Claire
Eric smiled "it's okay"
They soon got to her house, after Eric said good bye to Claire and also Issa, he went back home.
