Very soon, their exams started. More than ever, everyone buried their heads in their books. After two weeks, Claire was done with her exams. On the last day, there was jubilation among those that were done. It was still early in the day and not yet time for their usual closing, but they were free to leave. Some of Claire's classmates went to throw a party.
Eric's class weren't yet done with their exams for the day so they weren't free to go. Claire wanted to wait for Eric so Jax decided to keep her company while she was waiting. Claire texted Eric to call her when he was done.
Jax suggested the go to the small diner not too far from the school. Eric could meet them there. They ordered burgers and smoothies. While eating,they were talking about the exams.
