“Dad, you wanted to see me?” Simile walked up to Joseph where he stood on the newly repaired dock. He had a fishing rod in hand and his pipe dangled from the corner of his mouth. “Grab a rod.” He said and gestured with his head to the rod standing propped up against a cooler. “Uh, sure, okay.” Simile walked over and after selecting a lure, joined him where he stood. The familiar feeling that washed through her, warmed her. “Something wrong?” “No.” He let out a puff of smoke and flicked the lure back into the water. “I took a walk through the compound earlier this morning.” He said. “I ran into Snow and her family.” “How is she doing?” Simile asked.
