Leo was just finishing his dinner when there was a knock on his door. Since his cousins and siblings would just walk in, and few other people actually knocked on the door, he hoped it was Sara.
His smile fell when Peter was standing on his doorstep instead.
“Damn, dude. Way to make your best friend feel like he’s not wanted.”
“Why did you knock?”
Peter shrugged. “I’m trying to be a better person. Sara’s a stickler for being kind and not acting like an ass.”
