Margaret was shocked to hear the cashier's words. For a moment there she thought that her hearing ability had reiterated.
She forced a smile and composed herself before asking the cashier,
"Pardon?"
"I asked how you got this card, no offense but this is the first time I am seeing your face and I have to be sure that you didn't steal the Alpha's card."
The cashier responded politely.
Only then did Margaret realize that she was holding the Alpha's card.
'Oh s**t!'
She cursed inwardly, she just hoped that Chloe would arrive fast before the case escalated.
"The Alpha himself gave it to me, there is no cause for alarm, I didn't steal it."
