Azel is a demon that had awakened the power of the heavens lost in all demons. His family and the entire demon race were almost extinct from the hands of the celestial beings.

His younger brother 'Lucifer' was deemed as an enemy by the angels of the celestial realm simply because he interfered with the Creator's plan and helped open the eyes of the human race to wisdom.

The angels asked for the head of Lucifer, and when the demons refused to hand over one of their kind for such trivial matter, it led to a full scale war with the angels almost exterminating the entire demon race.

Azel escaped from his homeworld and found refuge on Earth, his soul being carried along in a human vessel 'Frank'.

The war between the demons of 'Helstar' and angels of the celestial realm had stretched on for more than a thousand years, and the final battle is to be fought on earth and this will undoubtedly result in the end of the human race.
