FIRST THING THE NEXT morning, I scanned the following month’s roster. My stomach fluttered when I saw that I was rostered off for the Swingtastic weekend. Matt would be so happy if I went with him. I wiped my palms on my shorts and shoved the roster back into my pigeon hole, along with that mini-panic. I had to focus, there’s no way I was going to risk another mistake at work. I’d gotten off pretty light so far, but I couldn’t afford to mess up again. “Macie, bring it over this side,” Rachael directed.
