Chapter 9 The sunlight streamed through my window and danced across my face. I rolled over, burying my head under my pillow. I wasn’t ready to face the real world yet. A smile crept onto my face as my first lucid thought of the day formed. Mmm. Kissing. Kissing Matt. I’d wanted to do that from the first moment I’d seen him, and I wanted to do it again. As soon as possible. I peeked out from under the pillow to check the time, oh-eight-hundred. I’d missed the hot breakfast but there was plenty of time to get some cereal and yoghurt from the mess. I’d have to get some block out curtains soon, or I’d never manage a proper sleep in. I hauled myself out of bed, quickly showered and dressed, then headed to the mess. Unable to see anyone I recognised, I sat alone in the corner to eat my break
