Telling Luke

357 Words
Cassie’s POV: He had passed out. I finally calm myself down. I didn’t know what to do, he said help but… well he’s a werewolf. But I felt a deep connection towards him. I was so confused. I finally decided to help him. I pulled him to the car with all my strength and then laid him at the back seat. I got in to the car and drove him to my home. I left him at the back seat and went to tell Luke what I saw. Luke immediately believed and was so psyched about it. We went downstairs together and carried him from the car to the apartment. We administered first aid to him but he was still out. The wound on his stomach was really fatal and I doubt there was anything we could do, he needed to be taken to a hospital. ‘Are you sure he’s really a werewolf?’, Luke suddenly asked me out of nowhere. ‘Of course he’s a werewolf. I saw him change’ ‘You sure you didn’t see something else?’, he asked again. ‘I know what I saw Luke’ ‘Well werewolves have fast regenerating power and he should have healed by himself’ I began contemplating if I was just hallucinating, but I knew what I saw. But why isn’t he healing? Even I don’t know a lot about werewolves but I expect a supernatural being to heal by itself. ‘Wait! It could be silver’, Luke exclaimed. ‘Werewolves have a weakness for silver and that’s all I can think of’. ‘Thought their weakness was garlic or something’, I said back ‘Those are vampires’, he said slamming his hand on his head, ‘and vampires don’t exist’, he continued. ‘If it really is silver we have to get him to a hospital quick or he could die’. ‘But won’t his heart rate or blood or something be different’ ‘He’s still part human Cassie, it won’t. Now hurry let’s get him to an hospital.’ I grabbed my keys and we took him back to the car and drove him to an hospital.
