Chapter 13

As soon as we entered the dining hall, I found Bryan. He looked up as soon as we entered and smiled at me.

I don’t know when I became so horny, but every time I saw him all I wanted to do was jump his bones.

We made our way to our seats and the food was served almost as soon as we sat down. As I watched him eat, I realized how badly I wanted to be that fork going into his mouth.

“Holy Crap you are one perverted woman.” I heard Oli’s voice in my head clear as day.

My eyes shot right to his face and he gave me a huge smile. “It worked!” I yelled in my head.

“It sure did but there is no need to scream.” Mateo’s voice came across in my head.

“I guess we have our own family now.” Came from Demetri.

The four of us must have had some sort of look on our faces because people were starting to look our way. I guess that makes sense, since we haven’t said one word but the four of us looked like we had just won the lottery with huge smiles on our faces.

“Looks like we have a new record,” Titan said, laughing.

We all turned and looked at him.

“Half the time we have to do a blood ritual to get groups to bond, but it looks like the four of you have figured it out.” He said, smiling.

“It was all Liv,” Mateo said, looking at me.

“No, it was all of us.” I said, taking his hand.

“Enjoy the rest of your day because your training starts tomorrow,” Titan said, and stood up and left the hall.

We finished eating and I noticed Bryan was still in the hall eating seconds.

“Go talk to him. We will meet you upstairs.” Oli said. I looked over at him and he winked.

“Get it girl. Anybody can tell there is some kind of crazy attraction between the two of you.” Mateo chimed in.

Demetri didn’t say anything, he just nodded his head and the three of them walked out, leaving me alone in the hall with Bryan.

“Hey.” I said, sitting down next to him.

He set his fork down and wiped his mouth. Leaning back in his chair, he smiled. “Hey. Nice work figuring out how to mind link so fast.”

“Oh yeah, thank you. So……” I had no idea what to say or do. I was confused about the feeling I was having and I froze.

“So?”

“Yeah, I’m sorry Bryan, I just… You know what, forgot it. I will let you finish your lunch.” I went to stand up but he put his hand on my arm, keeping me from going.

“You know you are even cuter when you are flustered.”

I wanted to freak out but I maintained my composure. “I try.”

Then I heard his amazing laugh that made me want to take off my clothes and jump on him.

“How about tonight if I take you on a walk? I know you haven’t had a chance to see a lot.”

“Like just the two of us?”

He moved closer and smiled. “Yeah, just the two of us.”

“I would like that a lot.”

“Great, we can go after dinner tonight. As much as I want to sit here next to you, I can’t be late for class.”

“ OK after dinner.” I stood up and smiled at him again before making my way to my room.

As soon as I entered the room, I saw my new family sitting in my room. Oli is on my bed, Demetri is on my couch, and Mateo is in the chair.

“So?” Oli asks.

“We are going to go on a walk after dinner. Is it weird that I feel this crazy pull towards him that just confuses me and Aura?”

“Do you think he could be your second chance mate?” Demetri asked.

“I mean I thought you had to be rejected to actually get a second chance mate and I heard that finding a second chance mate almost never happens.”

“I mean it would make sense to why it’s a weird pull,” Oli said. “It’s too bad because we could have made some really cute pups.”

I couldn’t help but laugh. For the first time in a long time, I felt content and happy with my new pack.
