Chapter 11

Until Demetri elbowed me. “You OK?”

“Um yeah, yeah I’m good.”

I looked up at him and found him looking in my direction. I wanted to get lost in those eyes. But then I saw Titan say something and he broke eye contact to look at Titan. Shortly after, food started to be served.

So much food. I didn’t train today, so I wasn’t as hungry as normal, so I chose not to eat as much. As soon as the dinner was over, the room quickly emptied. Titan came walking toward us.

“Your uniforms have been delivered to your rooms. You will need to wear your uniform Monday through Saturday. Sunday is your day off to wear whatever you want. Breakfast is served at 7AM sharp every morning. Lunch is at noon and dinner is at 7. There are always snacks available in the kitchen.”

“So the kitchen is free range?” Oli asked.

Titan chuckled. “Yes, there is always food available. Tomorrow we will allow the four of you to get to know each other and you get a free day. Mainly because Oli and Demetri need to be able to recover from jet lag.”

He placed a book on the table and pushed it toward me. “You will have to figure out how to make a bond that will allow you to become a pack so you can mind link each other. The sooner you figure it out the better.”

We all looked at the book and then at each other.

“Come on, I will give you a quick tour of the house. After dinner is free time. We have a game room but you will find it empty most days because studying takes priority.”

He showed us the back porch and then down to the basement. Where there was a huge game room. You could easily fit 50 people or more in this basement with room to spare. He showed us the office and the library, which was full.

We made our way outside and the first building that looked like a barn was a training facility. The second building that looked identical on the outside to the first building is where we would study and learn.

“All the instructors will be located on the first floor of the house and the office belongs to the headmaster.”

He knocked on the office door and we heard a gruff “Come in.”

Titan opened the door and we followed him in. As soon as I entered, I saw Mr. Green eyes sitting in front of the desk. Behind the desk was an older looking gentleman and the man I assumed was the headmaster.

“Headmaster Wilson and Bryan our top students.” Titan turned and looked at us. "This is Demetri, Oliver, Mateo, and Olivia. Our new recruits.”

“Excellent! You all have very impressive records. I am expecting great things from all of you. My door is always open if you need anything.” He said as he made his way to us and shook each of our hands.

He stopped at me and stared down at me. “Olivia Kincaid. You are quite an impressive young lady.”

“Thank you sir and you can call me Liv.”

“Liv, I have accepted 2 women prior to you and their track record wasn’t close to yours. I feel privileged to have you here.”

I smiled humbly. “Thank you sir.”

He smiled before looking over to Bryan a.k.a Mr. Green eyes. “This is Bryan. He is my top student so you have some competition but I am sure Bryan would be happy to help if you have any questions.

Bryan made his way towards the four of us and felt my breath almost stop. What the hell was wrong with me? He reached out and I shook his hand. I couldn’t explain it but I didn’t want to let go. It felt like we were in a bubble and time was standing still. Titan clears his throat, bringing us back to reality.

I watched as he shook hands with Oli, Mateo, and Demetri. “Anything you guys need, I am on the second floor, first door on the right.” His voice was deep and warm and I felt a warmth begin to grow inside of me.

I don’t know why he was having this kind of effect on me, but I needed to stay focused. I was not here to find a man but to achieve my goal.

After a few more minutes with the Headmaster, we headed back to our rooms.

Demetri headed right to bed and Oli was there shortly after. Mateo and I headed to my room to try and figure out how we could get this bond set so we could mind link. I had a feeling it was going to be a long night.
