Chapter 11 Let's Talk About It

Dominic's POV

I can't get enough of her or the feelings she gives me, not even just the fact we are kissing right now.

Every single feeling she gives me feels amazing and makes me feel so complete with her by my side.

Her hand goes to the back of my head, running her fingers through the little bit of hair she is touching.

Goddess, it feels so good as I wrap my other arm around her body, pulling her closer to me if that was even possible.

I feel her lift her leg and throw it over the top, across my lap. She is now straddling my lap as Miles approves, letting out a purring in my chest and there is no holding that purr back.

My hands trail to her hips as her hands trail to my cheeks, making our kiss deeper than before.

She is making this so much harder than it has to be to hold me back. She moans into my kiss as I groan back in response. My hands trail under her shirt and to her skin, igniting the sparks between our skin-to-skin touching.

Ashleigh grabs my hand, stopping it as she breaks our kiss saying, "No I'm gross, I'm chubby, I have stretch marks and my body is not as good as I would like it to be after Aurora. Your body looks perfect, so you won't like mine Dom."

I shake my head at her as I pulled her closer to me. My hand goes straight to her cheek gently rubbing over the top, as the other is still in her hand, rubbing the bare skin on her hip. I retort back to her comment, "You're wrong Ash. I love every last inch of you. I think stretch marks are gorgeous. You shouldn't be ashamed of them. childbirth is a trauma your body went through for an amazing result. You should wear your scars with pride, because it shows what you chose to go through, not for yourself but for her. Everyone has scars my love and it's ok... But don't be ashamed of them. They are what made you who you are today. Wear them with pride. Just know you're the sexiest woman I have ever laid eyes on." I say this as I kiss her neck. She moans under my soft touch as I continue down her neck and to her exposed shoulders. I take a deep breath in, of her arousal and the caramel smell in the crook of her neck.

God how could she ever think we wouldn't find her sexy.. is that even possible? She is the definition of sexy.

Miles says in my head as I internally agree with his spot-on comment.

We need to help change her opinion about herself, that these assh*le people have ingrained in her brain. But I know we can do it, it just might take time.

I say back to him as my other hand trails to her hip again and slightly up the back of her shirt as I nibble and kiss the one spot I would bite to mark her as mine.

She moans softly from my actions as she asks under her breath, "God why does that one spot feel so good under your touch?"

I smirk, looking up at her as I try to explain softly, "Well, in my... culture, when you find your mate you claim them by marking them in a particularly sensitive area and that area is right here." I say as I kiss that spot again, making her arousal smell even stronger.

"How would you mark me?" She asks with her eyes closed, as she still lets me assault the curve of her neck more in that one particular spot.

"I would bite right there," I say as I nibble that spot, making her moan softly again. "But wouldn't that hurt?" she asks as she opens her eyes to look at me. "Well, for a second, but normally the marking is a s****l, sensual experience bounding us as one, so it actually enhances the euphoric feelings with a tinge of pain at the beginning.. or so I hear." I try to explain to her.

"Would you want to be bound to me forever? Are you sure you don't want someone else? I don't know if I'm worth that?" She says to me as I stop kissing her neck, locking my gaze with hers.

"You listen to me Ash and you listen good, you're worth it. I don't want anyone else at all ever! I just don't know if I can be the man you and your baby deserve, but I hope so.. No matter what anyone here has said to you, you're worth all this love and more. I would be the luckiest man alive if you would willingly be bound to me forever. In my... culture, that's our life's purpose, to find our other half and become whole. To be the best version of yourself you could never be without them... Family is everything to us and I have been searching for you since I turned 16 and um... I got my... extra senses and... help ..to find you my love. You're everything I ever wanted and more. I'm the lucky one here, hands down. But I know my cultures are not your own, so it's no rush and not forced. I will wait until you're ok with all this because we have forever to spend together, so you take as long as you need."

"You don't think you will get tired of me ever? Forever seems like a long time to commit to someone you just met. Are you sure you just want me? Or is that the 'Mate feelings' talking.. and that's the only reason you want me?" She asks a little confused, so I smile and shake my head at her as I say, "Forever is not long enough with you, my love. As I said, the moon goddess picked you out for me because she knew you would be EVERYTHING I wanted and needed in a companion. This means I would have already thrown myself at you of my own accord... So she paired us because you're perfect for me in every way.. but NO other woman would not make me feel like this and give me these sparks, just you and only you.. and I'll take my chances at forever if you're my partner in crime." I say softly to her with our lips only inches apart as I rub circles on her hip igniting those sparks we both love so much.

"Please don't break my heart Dom.. I'm so afraid this is too perfect to be true and my life thus far has been the farthest thing from perfect." She says with her plump soft lips as her sweet breath fans over my lips, so I protectively spat in the sexiest tone I can muster up. "If anyone hurts you I would make them pay for it, but the hurt won't be from me... We have been taught at a very young age to cherish and respect our mate with everything in us and I'm going to do just that for you and Aurora. You're all I want... But only when you're ok with us being together... I won't rush you or force you with me. I will wait as long as I need because you're the only one for me and like I said, I have been searching for you for a while, so I'm not going anywhere."

"God, how do you know exactly what to say? How am I supposed to turn that down, Mr.Perfect Beast." She says crashing her lips to mine, making me moan instantly at the sparks growing between us.

I pick her up in my arms, flipping us both over quickly, so I'm hovering over her still kissing her with so much passion. She breaks our kiss as she asks, "So what did I do to get so lucky to have you as my mate.. why me? It's not like I'm a part of your.. culture. Is that normal for situations like this?"

"No, not exactly normal for my culture at least. But I couldn't be happier and I swear I'm the lucky one and when I told my family about you and Aurora they couldn't have been happier for us, but they also know how much I have been searching for you too. But they have been asking me when I'm going to bring you home, but I have to finish my assignment here first, then we can go, I promise." I try to explain to her as much as possible so she understands.

"Wait, so if you don't mind me asking, are you helping or investigating Mr. and Mrs. Willows?" she asks curiously.

"Well, between you and me Ash, I'm doing a little bit of both... I'm never going to leave people without help, so if I can I will help, but I'm helping while investigating. A couple of suspicious things have happened that make me wonder if there is more to this place than meets the eye." I say to her a little cryptically because she doesn't know what we are yet, so it's a little harder to explain.

"Like around the town? Or just the people? Because Mrs.Willows has always acted weird.. especially when Mr.Willows isn't around, which is most of the time... But almost every time I close the bar with her, she meets up with random men outside all the time... It's nothing s****l about it, so don't get me wrong, but there's something to it... This has been happening for years now so I'm probably just overthinking it." She says to me as I curiously look down at her.

"Do you know why she meets up with those men? Do you know any of those men?" I ask her.

"Well, most of the time it's the same man, but I don't think he lives around here because I have never seen him in town, and with this being a small town I see everyone.. but there have been multiple times I have seen her with men around the town too... Even my old choir teacher hung around her a lot, of years ago..before he got arrested of course... But that was before I started working for her. That was when I was still in school before everything happened.. but every time we had to go out of town he would meet up with her right before. It was weird. She was the one that introduced me to him in the beginning. I think he is her brother or relative of sorts. But after she had a meeting with my parents a couple of times, is when she introduced me to him... But like I said, this has been happening for years with Mr. and Mrs. Willows they own the town. That's why I don't argue with them, only their son because he is an i***t. But I have never seen what they hand back and forth... But most of the men from town are normally the ones giving her stuff and the man that doesn't live in town she gives him stuff." She says back to me.

"Do these trades ever happen at the same time or is it just random every time? Is Mr.Willows ever involved? I know this might sound weird, but have you ever noticed anything else strange or not normal, happening around town during those times that she does these weird meetings?"

"Um.. people have been going missing if that's what you mean.. but I have no idea why, but it's mostly girls and children. That's why we don't have much around here when there used to be way more. But I never see Mr.Willows involved ever. These are always done after he leaves.. but Mrs.Willows is always the one conducting these weird meetings. It mostly seems random when she does it, but the out-of-town guy always meets her at the bar right out to the side in complete darkness. The only reason I ever noticed in the first place was when I was leaving for the night. I knew they were talking about me because the guy said something about me and Mrs. Willows said that I'm not worth it. After all, I'm just a disgusting human homewrecker.. I never understood all of it, but the point is I knew she was talking about me because of that comment. But I just pretended as I had never heard them." She says to me as I hop up off the couch, pick up my phone, and call Nate. "Hey man, how's the day going far?" he asks picking up right away, of course.

"It's been perfect here thanks man.. but I was talking with Ash and our conversation has somehow stumbled upon a revelation... I think the Luna is behind all this.. Ash says she has been meeting up with the guy I saw the other night in the same spot, for years and people have been going missing for years as well, but mostly women and children. She says even people around the town meet up with her, giving her something, and then she gives the mysterious guy something, but she doesn't know what. You need to keep a close eye on her, but not too obvious I don't want her thinking we suspect her or she might try something, especially knowing Ash is my mate. But I don't think the Alpha knows anything about this. Ash says he has never been there for any of the meet-ups she has seen. But Ash only heard a little bit of one of their conversations because it was about her. The mysterious guy asked about her and Luna said she was just a disgusting human homewrecker and not worth it.. so whatever they were talking about has to do with random people." I say to him as he responds, "Do you think this is more than just abuse and unkempt lands.. maybe like people trafficking? Maybe as payment of sorts? from who for what I wonder.." Nate says to me as I shrug to myself and say, "I'm still going to spend the day with my ladies but I will be back after. Just keep a close eye on her... She has been too anxious about us leaving to my liking anyway. But can you tell Wes and my father for me, please... So my father can keep the Council up to date as well?" I ask him.

"Yes Alpha, have fun but be safe. I think we are getting a little too close for comfort to this situation and Ash is the easiest target amongst us. Protect our luna." He says protectively to me, making me smile as I respond, "with my life." I hang up and turn around. Ash looks worried but stands right behind me as I grab her face, kissing her with so much passion.

I break our kiss as I stare down at her.

"Is everything ok? If you need to go to work, I understand." She says so sweetly to me but I shake my head. "No, my place is by your side, especially now, because you just helped me confirm something that I have been suspicious about for a little bit. but that also makes you an easy target because Mrs.Willows knows your my mate, so if she wants to get to me she knows how. So I might be harassing you more than I had planned until I can get you both home to a safe place where I know my pack would protect you." I say back to her as she smirks and says, "You can harass me as much as you want, I'm ok with that... But how do you know your 'pack' with protecting me and Aurora? Especially when we are not apart if your.. pack." She says staring back at me.

"Ok, I'll harass you all the time if you insist because I just want to be around you all the time! My pack will protect you because I'm the soon-to-be the leader of the pack and they will listen to me. You're my family now, my pack has been awaiting my arrival with my mate, so they won't object at all because we are a pack and take care of each other." I say to her as she smiles up at me saying, "If you insist but now, I can't wait to see with my own eyes what you're suppose to show me. She says smirking up at me as I swallow with nervousness.

I don't know how I'm going to find the perfect way to show her and Aurora my secret so they feel comfortable with me before they leave with me.. because what if that is not ok with me being a werewolf? and they change their minds after seeing what I am?

They will probably hate it or just not want to be around a Beast or monster like me. She loves that movie but that doesn't mean she wants to live it. Even if Ash doesn't get scared, if Aurora does, then Ash would leave just because she wants to do what's best for her baby.

Maybe I shouldn't show them my real self. No, that can't be right... I have to show her.. There is no way I couldn't show them if I want them to be with me and I know I do.

Stop thinking like that Dom. I can tell she likes us more than you know and so does Aurora, so they will be fine knowing who you and I are. Just as much as you love her knowing who she is.

Miles says to me as I internally hope he is right.

"I want to show you I do... But.. What if you don't like what you see.. when you see the real me?? I'm just scared to show you because I don't want you to ever be scared of me or worse yet, hate me.. by either you or Aurora." I confess staring at her.

Her hand goes up to my cheek, softly touching it. She stares at me for a moment thinking about what to say.. as she decides to respond, "I don't think there is anything you could show me that would change my mind about you. Same for Aurora. She already loves you. Just whatever it is, please be honest with us and give me a warning so we can brace ourselves for whatever it is... I promise if it's a part of you, then I'm going to love it. We are stronger than you think Dom. Anyways, you're an amazing person inside and out and I will be fine finding out your dirty little secret... Well, unless it's another woman, because I don't share very well at all except with Aurora."

Her comment makes me chuckle as I shake my head responding, "I promise there are no other women. I just hope with all my heart you're right and you're both not scared of me."

"We will be fine Dom, we both adore you and every bit of you we have seen. So I bet we will love this about you as well. It's going to be ok. Don't think too much about it." She says even softer, rubbing her thumb on my cheek as I lean into her gentle touch. "I don't know how you do that, but I love it already," I say to her as she looks confused. "Do what?" she asks right away. "Calm me down instantly. It's not as easy as you might think and you made it look so easy."

"I didn't even know if it would help, but I just had to say something. I don't like it when you're worried and looking sad.. I'm just glad I could help you feel better like you have done for me. But don't worry, I will make you a promise... No matter what your secret is... I won't go anywhere.. ok?" she asks me as I shake my head at her.

"No you don't know what it is, so I don't think you should promise that until you know for sure," I say to her.

She responds without hesitation, "You accepted me knowing that dark side of me, right? So why couldn't I accept something of yours? Relationships are supposed to be about us both working at this together and helping each other when we can.. we are both supposed to give and take... So I'll say it just one more time and I hate repeating myself... Read my lips, Dominic, I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE... I'm a determined asshole too. I wouldn't argue with that. I might seem nice and all, but I can tell you I'm probably the nicest b*tch you will ever meet."

I bust up laughing at her responding, "Fine! When you want to leave me for this, I'm soooo throwing this conversation in your face." I say sarcastically, making her smile up at me as she wraps her arms around my torso, hugging me tight I wrap my arms around her pulling her into my body.

"Besides, I'm sure starting to like having you around.. honestly... I haven't been happier with you and Aurora by my side. She loves you so much and you don't know what that means to me and I don't want this to end. I just feel so good when I'm with you, So I will do anything to make this last as long as it can." She says to me, making my heart so happy as she stares up at me.

"You're amazing and I have loved this just as much... you both are more than I could have ever imagined and I couldn't be happier with the two of you. I can't wait to take you home." I say smiling at her. I lean down, pressing my lips to hers.
