Chapter 16 Morning Sunshine

Ashleigh's POV

I slowly open my eyes to the sound of the coffee machine as the freshly brewed coffee smell fills the room.

I look around blinking a couple of times, getting used to the brightness of the room.

I look down and see Dominic passed out on top of me still holding me tight as if I'm a teddy bear for a little kid.

I giggle at this adorable sight as I play with his hair for a minute. His mouth is slightly open as he lightly snores on my chest. My gaze glides across the room as they land on the familiar eyes of my best friend.

She is grinning ear to ear, wiggling her eyebrows at me as she sips her coffee. I blush instantly at the sight of Dominic and me. She giggles and says a little louder than a whisper to me, "Mmmm looks like some yummy goodness went down last night huh?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" I whisper spat back to her as she smirks at me and retorts, "Yes I would, I want to know all the details!" I shake my head and she groans and says, "Ok fine I'll investigate then since he is just in shorts that means you didn't have s*x, so must be foreplay for sure... You don't have much experience at all with foreplay for men, so I'm assuming he took over starting this... I can't see if you have underwear on or not, so I'm going to guess since this is the first time you guys are together.. that he fingered you." My eyes go wide at her, getting it to spot on as she smirks and says, "point 1 for Stef! 50 for Ash for getting some for once."

I flip her off with my middle finger as she laughs at me and says. "So wait since he fingered you, I bet you didn't get to see how big his d**k is huh? Dammit, I wanted to know if it's bigger than normal with the amazing beastly genes."

"Like I would know," I say probably a little too loudly.

"You're right dammit, you haven't seen any dicks.. I just can't wait to meet one of his friends. I need this in my life, even if it's just for a night or two, it's been too long since I got some good dick." She says to me groaning.

"You're a s*x-crazed girl." I say back to her as she smirks at me, winking just to say, "I bet you will be too after you finally have s*x with your.. mate. I bet you, he is going to make it perfect for you. He seems like that sweet of a guy. Then you're going to be addicted to his werewolf d**k doing him all the time... She says this so playfully, making me grin and nod at her as she smirks and winks back at me.

Dominic groans, opening his eyes... I see his gaze flip up to mine instantly. I smile down at him running my hand through his soft hair. He grins at me just smiling as he turns his face, kissing my breast in his face, as he tightens his grip around me. He lays his head back down as if he wants to go back to sleep, staying on me forever, holding me tight.

"Mmmm that was the best sleep I have ever had. I just want to stay here forever." he groans to me as I looked up seeing Stef grin and put her finger to her lips to keep me quiet.

"Oh yeah I bet... you looked real tuckered out from sexually assaulting my best friend's hot body.. she told me all about how amazing it was." She says to Dom as his eyes go wide and he looks at her and then back to me with a big grin on his face. I shake my head at him and flip her off as she giggles and says, "There's a pot of coffee for you and your little s*x kitten. I'll give you guys a moment to get up and get dressed before cupcake wakes up." Stefanie gets up and walks across and then out of the room.

Dominic is still looking up at me smiling, as I say, "I didn't tell her all about how amazing it was... she guessed it... in my defense.. she is just a s*x-crazed psycho.. so don't mind her."

Dominic chuckles at my response as he says back to me, "I think she is nice.. outspoken, but nice."

I nod and smile at him as I say, "She is the best person I have ever had in my life... No matter what anyone said about me, she never believed them and always defended me.. she never left my side throughout all this... I wouldn't have made it if it wasn't for her... She has no filter, but that's one of the things I love most. Honestly, that's the only thing that I don't like about moving with you, is not having her around... She was my rock for so long, that I don't know what I would do without her. She is not just my best friend, but my sister, even if it's not by blood." I say a little sadly thinking about my life without her in it.

"I thought about that and was hoping since she might be one of the targets to get to you, that we might be able to convince her to come with us.. but we will have to see."

He says this so sweetly to me. I smile and nod at the idea that he had already thought about this for me to make me happy, knowing how sad I would be.

"So I have to go get some groceries, the girls and I are going to go and no, I don't want a guard... Dom." I say in hopes he might listen to me, but who knows? Dominic shakes his head and says, "But I do have to go back to the pack for just a little bit today. When I went back to the spot where we got attacked last night, I found my phone but I also found one of the rogue's phones. So I have to try to investigate to see if it has anything that could help us out. So I need to send a guard with you my love, you need to be protected... Besides, I saw Mrs.Willows on my way back and she was talking with a man that must be from around here because he didn't smell like a rogue. But they were talking about a contract he had signed paying for some girl.. but it sounds like it might be trafficking of sorts, so I have to investigate.. they talked about how they have to get rid of that girl, so I need to find her before they do because she could be the puzzle piece to finish this s**t and get back home." I groan and know I'm not going to win this, so why try? I just nod at him as he smiles sitting up.

His eyes drift to my body again since I'm still almost naked. He licks his lips and smirks at me saying, "You know.. on second thought... I think I should just stay there in your arms all day. You look too good to leave." I giggle and shake my head as he groans. Then extending his hand to me, I grab it as he pulls me up and into his chest. I smirk up at him as he purrs down at me. I can feel his chest rumble under my touch and man, I love it.

"Mmm baby you better stop those yummy thoughts. I can smell what those thoughts are doing to you and man, it smells so sweet making me want a taste. I swear I won't hesitate to sexually harass you again." he says wiggling his eyebrows as he is purring at me.

"The purring is sexy as f*#k so you better stop that... You're the one starting this, with your huge muscles and sexy body and then animalistic purring.. too sexy.. so you need to turn the sexiness down a notch if you ever want me to be able to concentrate on anything else but you." I say smirking up at him. His grip on my waist tightens as he pulls me into him more, leaning down and purring into my ear. This sends chills up my spine, turning me on more before he says. "Maybe I don't want you to concentrate on anything else but me."

"Well, then it's working and you are doing a fantastic job at completely distracting me to the point that I can't even control my own body around you," I say back to him, making him chuckle and kiss my cheek.

"Glad to hear we are having the same effect on each other because how am I supposed to concentrate when your sexy body is out and now against me? You make me never want to leave your presence." I giggle at that as I feel my face heating up. So I wink at him and slowly scoot around his big muscular frame as I go to the laundry basket, pulling out a bra to match my thong and throwing a long sleeve dress on. I throw my hair into a messy bun on the top of my head.

I smell Dominic's cedar woodsy musk before I feel his arms snake around my waist.

"You prove me wrong every single day when I think you can't get any more beautiful and yet here you are proving me wrong again." He leans in kissing my neck gently, sending chills up and down my spine.

I lean my head to the side, giving him more access to my neck as his hand leaves my hip heading down. He caresses my thigh and his hand drifts under my dress. I'm getting so turned on by his touch that I feel him purring into my neck as his hand drifts down to my thighs. almost in between them, as the door opens beside us, and out comes Aurora. "Good morning mommy and daddy."

Dominic purrs into my ear sending more shivers all over my body, saying, "to be continued my Luna."

I turn around as his hand drifts around to my ass as he grabs it. I smirk at him as I then turn to Aurora saying, "Good morning sunshine, did you sleep well?"

She nods at me as I pick her up in my arms. She hugs me and gives me a kiss before turning to Dominic who has had enough time to put away his morning wood. He grabs her out of my arms as she kisses him on the cheek, making his smile so big. I love how much they love each other already.

"Well princess, I have to go to work for a little bit so I'm going to send one of my friends to watch over you guys so you can go to the store, and then I'll be back after, ok?" He says so sweetly to her as she smiles and nods.

He puts her down before he grabs his phone, dialing one of his friends. Stefanie takes this time to talk to me. "So why are you all hot and bothered? Does it have to do with any particular studly man causing that?" I scoff and playfully slap her arm as she laughs shoving me back.

Dominic comes back to us as Aurora jumps in his arms again. He looks at us saying, "He will be here soon and then I'll be back in a little bit, but let me have your phone so I can put my number in, just in case you need anything you can call me." I hand him my phone but he looks at me funny and says, "No not you, I can put my number in your phone but I know you won't call me because I can tell you will try to take care of whatever could happen by yourself, I'm telling Stef because I know she will call me if you need me." I smirk at him because he knows me too well already. Stefanie is chuckling at that comment as she hands him her phone. He looks at her and says. "Call me please if she needs anything and I'll be there in no time at all." She smiles and then salutes him, before winking at me.

I scoff crossing my arms trying to pretend I'm mad as he grabs my phone, putting his number in as he kisses my cheek softly saying, "You can call me anytime, whether it's an emergency or not." I smile up at him as he matches my smile. We hear a knock at the door and Dominic walks up to the door with Aurora still in his arms.

He opens the door smiling as he lets in a tall muscular male brunette that looks maybe Latin. Dominic turns around as he says, "Pauly this is Stefanie, Aurora, and your Luna Ashleigh." He bows down instantly to the floor in front of me saying, "My Luna, it is an honor, the stories I have heard about your beauty, are a great understatement." I hear Dominic growling a little as I stare at him and he stops.

"Thank you that's very kind of you. You may stand I don't know how I feel about all these formalities. You're just our friend Pauly, just hang out and escort us.. so my mate won't have a conniption." I say smirking at Dominic across the room as he rolls his eyes at me, still holding Aurora.

Pauly stands up and smiles at Stefanie and Aurora bowing to them, but just a little bow this time.

"Ok Pauly, I have to go do some work with Wes and Nate. We will be back later, but keep me updated please.. and keep a sharp eye out. Since she is my mate, she has a target on her back and so does the girls, especially being on this territory, so you protect these girls with your life if need be. We were attacked by some rogues last night and of course, I protected them, but hence why I'm being so dramatic about this." Dominic says in such a stern commanding tone which is so sexy somehow.

"Yes Alpha, with my life." That is all Pauly says to him bowing. "Thank you, Pauly, you don't know what this means to me. I'm trusting you with the most precious beings in my life. Don't make me regret that trust and I will make sure you get a bonus as my thanks." Dominic says bowing back to Pauly. They both rise at the same time, then shake hands.

I don't know if I can ever get used to the formalities at all, but it seems very organized and not strict, but you can tell things are done a certain way.. so way more efficient I'm sure... very well trained I guess is the best way to say it.

Dominic kisses Aurora on the cheek plus a hug as she says, "I miss you already Daddy, get back soon."

He smiles at her comment as he says back, "The only reason I'm going princess, is to get us out of here sooner and to our pack. I'll be back before you even know it."

She smiles and nods as he sets her down. He points at Stefanie and says, "You know what to do?! Thank you for being here with them." She nods back and he walks up to me pulling me into his body as he crashes his lips to mine, kissing me as if there is no tomorrow and I love it. He breaks the kiss as he looks down at me and says, "I'll be counting the seconds until I see you again." I scoff as I smirk up at him and say, "What a waste of time! Get this done and over with so we can move on to our new life together please and thank you."

He smiles and laughs his deep, melodic, from-the-belly laugh, "You're right, that is a waste of time, but that doesn't mean I still won't do it.. see you soon my love, but please be careful." I nod at him as he kisses my cheek and turns around. Pauly bows at him as he passes, closing the door behind him.

"Well Aurora baby, how about you get ready so we can head over to the store for some things, and then I'll make us all some brunch!" I say to her and Stef as they run off into the bedroom.

"Pauly you're more than welcome to have a seat... Did you maybe want a drink at all? We have a pot of coffee ready to go and I'm going to get myself a cup." I say to him as he nods then walks to the counter replying, "A cup of coffee would be great Luna."

"You can just call me Ash if that's allowed. I'm not sure how all this works, sorry I just found out werewolves existed last night when Dom had to shift to save us from those rogues. So I'm extremely new to all this, being a human and all.. sorry." I say a little shyly to him as I handed him the cup of coffee. He bows taking the cup from my hands, as he quickly responds, "It's ok... My Lu... Ash... Alpha Dominic explained everything to me and the other men, we just kept our fingers crossed and prayed to the moon goddess that you would choose to come with Alpha Dominic because he is a spectacular leader. He has been searching for you for so long and he deserves this. It's ok though that you're human, we don't care. The moon goddess chose you for the Alpha, so I'm sure you're a strong, independent woman that he needs by his side and I can tell he already loves you and your daughter so much. He needed this more than you know."

I smile looking at the cup of coffee in my hands and saying softly. "No Pauly, I needed him more than anyone could know. He has already helped to save me in more ways than one and this is something I needed... He has already been amazing to my baby and she even calls him daddy because she adores him so much. I told him if he wasn't comfortable with being called daddy I would ask her to stop and he said no, that he loved it. It's just nice because any guys I tried talking to never wanted anything to do with my baby. All that Dom has done is put her and I first. He has even ditched me to play with her and it makes my heart so happy, my baby deserves that type of love, and I couldn't thank him more. He has been nothing short of amazing and I can tell you that I'm the lucky one for sure. I just hope your pack likes me, especially with me being human."

"It won't matter what anyone else thinks, because all that matters is how much Alpha Dominic loves you. Everyone else will follow his lead, especially when they get to know you. I have only been in your comfortable presence for maybe 5 minutes and I can already tell how sweet and genuine you are. They will all love you. Just give it a little time. Same for your daughter. This whole experience will be new for everyone, but it's not completely unheard of to have a human Luna. It's just not very common, but has happened before." Pauly says to me, making me smile and nod.

"So Pauly tell me about yourself.. do you have a mate?" I asked, just trying to hold the conversation, getting the attention off of me for a second. I'm not used to all this extra attention and it sometimes freaks me out.

"Yes I do, back at the pack.. her name is Jocelyn. I found her a couple of years ago on a business trip with Alpha Dominic. I was one of the main pack warriors specially picked by Alpha Dominic 5 years ago. We have been working together ever since."

"Jocelyn, that's a beautiful name. Just wondering.. how is it to work under Dominic? Honestly. I won't tell him what you say, it's just between me and you... I'm just trying to get a feel of how he is professionally, since he obviously won't let me come with him so I can see for myself."

"Honestly.. Ash.. he is amazing, he is always out there with every single one of us, no matter what we are doing.. which is rare to come by because most Alphas just tell people what to do and sit back watching.. but he is always there with us, no matter what it is... From manual labor, to traveling all day, to not getting a wink of sleep, to keeping guard so everyone else can sleep. I have literally seen him take a bullet for a guy, since he has always put us first. He is an amazing Alpha and I can tell you both are going to do great things together." This comment makes me smile so big at how much respect and love he has for Dom. It's so sweet, it is.

Out comes Aurora and Stef, ready to go.

"Alright team, let's head out," I say as we all get up to go to the store down the street.
