How is that even possible?” I demanded to know but Aelfric looked like he was ignoring me and kept his focus on a raging Alarick in front of us. “Just tell me.” I said louder. “LEAVE. NOW!” He ordered me without giving me a single glance. He kept his eyes on Alarick expecting and eagerly awaiting his next move. I wanted to stay and help but the sudden, deep roar coming from Alarick made me take a few steps back. I looked at those dark, almost pitch-black eyes and there was nothing left of Alarick but at the same time, those eyes looked terribly sad and full of pain.
