The drowned witch

Chapter 1 THE JOURNEY Emily came out of the lake looking exhausted, after many years of being trapped by the wicked witch , Anora , for disobeying the rule that all witches must not develop any sort of romantic feelings for the mortals , it's a taboo to them . 400 years back , Emily was summoned by Anora the wicked queen who was also the oldest witch in the kingdom of witches. she gave her a mission to go to the mortal realm and send back Thaddeus a wizard who refused to return back home after being sent on a mission to wipe out a cursed family . Queen Anora gave her fifty days to complete the mission. Emily's loyal servants ,Rihanna and Toby ,went to meet Emily in her coven, they came to prepare her for her journey to the mortal realm. Rihanna brought out a magic comb shaped like a human heart. She brushed Emily's hair with it , her unkempt hair and tangled hair suddenly transformed into that of a newborn baby , while Toby rubbed a lotion on Emily's skin which made her rough skin , young , soft and smooth again . The servants wore Emily a golden robe with silver lining and a pair of black heels . which made her look more like a queen ...... As the clock ticked 12 midnight , Emily took her magic wand, scrying mirror and crystal ball as she headed out to begin her journey to the land of mortals. Chapter 2 . THE TASK Emily passed through the invisible gate , although it was her first time taking that route , she saw other witches and wizards known as the Guardians, they all gazed at her , while some greeted her. Adrian the Gate keeper led Emily to the final stop where she will cross over to the mortal realm. The flying witches held Emily up and cast her into the Earthly realm . ( on earth) Lucy walked into a*****e to get some groceries, she bought some meat, drinks and other stuff from the store .The store attendant helped Lucy pack her stuff in a disposable bag. She was about heading out when she heard a loud thud which came from outside of the store. Emily found herself on the floor , she looked up and saw that she was already on earth , she quickly transformed herself into a beautiful young lady with her magic wand , still lost in reality , Emily felt a hand tapping her on the shoulder , she saw a young lady standing beside her . Lucy asked Emily if she was fine as she helped her on her feet . Emily saw this as a great opportunity , she told Lucy that she was is fine but has no place to stay . Lucy being kind hearted offered to let her stay in her house for the night since it was already late , they chatted on their way . Chapter 3 NEW FRIEND. Lucy took Emily into her apartment , showed her to the guest room , took her bag from her to the guest room and asked if she wanted something to eat , Emily told Lucy not to worry that she was okay. Shortly after Emily went into her room , Lucy began to unpack the groceries she bought and arranged them in the refrigerator, she took some beers and switched the TV on , putting it in her favorite program . some minutes later she dozed off. The next day , Lucy woke up around 6 o'clock , came out of her room as she called Emily but there was no response . she was worried as things began to go on in her mind ,she quickly went to check Emily in her room and saw her fast asleep , she felt relieved and closed the door calmly so as not to wake her up. Lucy prepared breakfast for both of them at the same time also preparing to go to her work place . Finally , Emily woke up from her deep sleep , came out of her room and saw Lucy already dressed up as if going out , She asked her where she was headed , since she knew nothing about humans. Lucy laughed at the question and told her she is going out to make some money. Their conversation was cut short when Lucy's drive arrived . ( " at her workplace" ) Tony and Lucy came out to give a presentation on a launching project they've been working on. the chairman was pleased with their points .About 30 minutes later the presentation ended. Lucy and her friends Annie and Bridget went out to get some snacks during the afternoon break. They occupied a three seater table , eating their snacks , Lucy told them about her encounter last night with Emily . Annie and Bridget told her it's not right to accept strangers into one's home without knowing where they came from. Lucy reasoned their opinion and agreed with them , she decided to send Email away . Chapter 4 PERSONAL INFORMATION. Emily took out her crystal ball , she called out Lucy's name three time , and she appeared in the crystal ball , she saw what Lucy was doing in her office , she also saw what her friends said about not to trust her. she quickly went into Lucy's room , she took her pillow and said some enchanted words to it . Suddenly Lucy felt some chills in her head , she could not remember what her friends said during the afternoon break ,as they all headed back to the office to continue working . Tony came to Lucy and congratulated her on the success of the presentation . She boarded a taxi back home after a long day. Emily sensed Lucy's presence , she quickly brought out her magic wand and the table was filled with food. Wow where's this great aroma coming from ( Lucy said in her mind) Lucy opened the apartment door ,and was surprised to see the table filled with food, it had a similar aroma with the one she smelled downstairs .Emily told her she prepared to appreciate her for saving her last night . They both ate till they were filled. Chapter 5 THE SEARCH It's been two days since Emily's arrival on earth , she began her search on Thaddeus location but she could not find any clue. Rihanna and Toby were wandering around the street looking for their master Emily elsewhere on earth . where could Emily be , Toby muttered. They both later suggested making use of their power , but it was futile , let us go and look for a place to stay before it gets darker ... The next day , Emily went out to meet the at his cottage, located at the entrance of the mortal realm. (" At Ethan's cottage ") Ethan a 500 year old wizard is busy cleaning his crystal ball, when the door bell rang. He checked his magic mirror and saw that it was Emily . He continues to clean his crystal ball with his right hand , while his left hand goes to get the door . Emily walks into the cottage , they both exchange pleasantries. Ava the black cat sniffles Emily to check if she was one of them . The cat walked away after confirming that she is a witch . Ethan finished cleaning his crystal ball , he offered Emily a wooden chair with worm tea , and asked her the purpose of her visit . I need your help to locate a wizard named Thaddeus , Emily wait's in eagerness for his reply . why will you want to risk your life in locating that rebellious wizard , Emily explained to Ethan the reason why she came to earth . I will help you but you must not get too close to Thaddeus. Anora herself knows that getting you involved with that wizard could endanger your life , I know she's doing this for her selfish gain. You will have to come by in seven days, to collect the portal portion I will be making for you . Emily thanked Ethan , as she prepared to leave . Chapter 6 SUNDAY'S ENCOUNTER Church bells rang from different directions, many people are on their way to their various churches, since today is Sunday ,The road seems extra busy. Josh is seen in his bedroom preparing to go to church. He covered his muscles and six packs with a sky Blue shirt with a matching jacket , he wore his black pants and black shoes. At Bethany church, Reverend Joe went up to the altar to preach the gospel ,which lasted for about 2 hours before the service came to an end. Emily couldn't focus at home , so she decided to come out for a walk, on her way she bumped into Josh , and apologized to him, she couldn't pick up his Bible for him , it burnt her while she attempted to pick it up . She had no other choice than to leave before she gets implicated . On her way back home , she tries to figure out while her heart beats faster than normal, when she makes eye contact with him. ( " Emily what are you thinking , this isn't true love, or is it , get a glimpse of yourself." ) she said in her head , and she used her magic wand to disappear back home. Josh laid on his back, thinking about the pretty lady he bumped into, So beautiful women do exist , he said as he blushes. Lily went downstairs to dump the trash bag and went back up. She saw Emily on the couch and asked when she arrived. She made up something else,so as not to answer Lily's question. Chapter 7 EMILY AND JOSH. The following day , Emily felt bored at home, no one to keep her company, Lucy went to work some couple of hours ago , and her servants didn't come with her. she decided to go out for a stroll ,to learn more about the human world . On her way , she noticed many people staring at her , some whispering in each other's ear talking about her. Whoa , I've seen the reason why Queen Anora hates humans. she noticed some boys approaching her ,they are obviously bad guys . Andrew the boss of the bad guys said to Emily , Hi pretty , I like you and I want you to come with me . His statement made Emily pissed off and irritated at the same time by the stench of alcohol coming from his mouth . She was about to leave, but he drew her back harshly, and then slapped her. This got Emily angry , she brought out her magic wand and was about to turn them into insects , without them noticing, but felt someone else was watching her behind. Josh who had been observing the situation ,had no choice but came down from his car to the scene , he saw that the situation was already getting out of hand and intervened . He gave the street boys some money so as to appease their anger , Then they departed. She hid her wand away in the air and thanked Josh for his help. Have we met before,he said , your face looks familiar , oh ! , you are the girl from the other day . It's nice meeting you again. Get into the car let me take you to your destination . Emily didn't dare refuse , she entered the vehicle took the front seat , Josh started his vehicle ,and drove off . Emily peeped at Josh , her heart began to beat fastly , she quickly looked outside the car window. Josh took Emily home , When she alighted ,he asked for her name , and she told him , Emily . (living room) What a handsome man, his face looks so cute and his hair is shiny and silk—like. Emily quickly snapped out of her thoughts , "you are a witch and he is a human" , what are you thinking ( " she slaps her cheek repeatedly") . Lucy smiles at her , because she saw a guy drop her off in the front of the building , she didn't dare interrupt Emily's happy moment. (Josh's Apartment) The living room is very spacious and elegant , the interior design makes sense . Josh sat on the massage chair thinking about Emily , he felt his heart beat faster whenever he saw her . Now I know her name and apartment , ( he smiles happily) thinking about the next move . Chapter 8 SUPERNATURAL WORLD. Every thing in this world felt controlled by evil forces, the colour of the sky kept shifting hue between dark and red . Different creatures roamed about , working on the task Anora assigned to each of them. The ancient Forest is surrounded by shadow mountain occupied by sorcerer s and witches of different shapes , this added to its creepiness. The entrance of Queen Anora's gigantic Castle is surrounded by a forest of dark , gnarled trees that appears to be alive and twisted by dark magic . A mist shrouded moat surrounds the castle , hiding unknown danger and dark secrets. The door of the castle is old and creaky, adorned with talismans. The inside of the castle is filled with dimly lit candles ,walls are ornamented with strange artifacts, and the air is filled with burning incense scents . Anora sat on her throne carved out of dark woods . she fumes with anger as she watches Emily through her crystal ball . " Fool" , Anora spat , I sent her on a simple mission , but she goes about developing feelings for a mortal ,such incompetent wretch. if not for Kaliyah, why will I send that stupid witch on this important mission. Her eyes beams with burning fury , she hit her staff on the floor and stomped out of her castle headed to the dark priestess coven . ( dark priestess coven) In an ancient floating mansion, guarded by seven demi–creatures. A grand dimly lit chamber for rituals, surrounded by a labyrinth of dark corridors . Kaliyah ,the dark priestess was busy stirring up a love potion in the moonlit laboratory , when a knock on her door distracted her , she knew it was Anora because all the candle lights in the laboratory blew out .One of the demi-creatures outside opened the door for the queen . Anora came in , still fuming , "Kaliyah I told you that girl was useless from the start , she can't help me in fulfilling my plans" , maybe I should get rid of her just like I did to her mother , before things gets complicated. The dark priestess calmed Anora down and reminded her of the reason why she chose Emily for the mission. we both know that she's a good witch , all we need to do is make her reveal that evil side of hers , so that you can reclaim what is yours , then destroy her after you get the forbidden power her mother passed on to her when she died . Queen Anora let out an evil laugh , ( she said) after I get the whole of the universe under my palms , I will make sure to destroy Emily that sly witch and trap her in the lake of no return , to perish , she said and teleported back to her castle. Chapter 9 . PARTY NIGHT The night buzzed with energy , music filled the air , people dancing to the tunes . beautiful ladies in skimpy dresses drinking alcohol . this place felt different from the real world.. like some off vibes
