Chapter one: what it feels like gaining an admission into the University It was a cool evening when Ria returned home from her mom's restaurant."hi mom",Ria said."oh",you're home already,I was about coming to the shop.Oh mom,I'm so sorry about that,I came because I couldn't wait to share this good news with you and dad,by the way,where's dad?I mean, since I came home I haven't heard or seen him.Your dad is upstairs,carrying out some research on work,so are you tired? you can go in and freshing up. Some few minutes later,Ria was about leaving the house for school, before she was called from behind by her mom. "Ria"her mom called. slowly Ria turned to look at her mom,mom you called Ria said.Yes I did, your off to school already? she asked. "Yes mom",she answered.Ok then safe journey. Ok mom,"love you" Ria said before leaving. Getting to school, she was about entering into the school compound when she heard a car horn behind her then she stopped to wait for the car to pass. Suddenly a guy from inside the car rolled down the car's window and said rudely."Hey dummy" get out of the way,after saying that, he drove sped past her. Ria was shocked,then she said softly,uttering some few words to herself, but I wasn't obstructing him. She hardly completed her sentence when a female voice spoke softly behind her, saying, I guess you're new here? Ria turned slowly to see who was talking. In front of her stood a light skinned girl, with hazel brown eyes and chocolate brown hair,Then Ria spoke, yes, I'm a new student. oh, don't worry you'll get use to it said the girl standing in front of Ria.She then stretched her right hand towards Ria and said,"hi" I'm Daniela and you? Ria accepted the hand shake and said, I'm Ria nice to meet you.Same here said Daniela. chapter 2: making new friends ria entered inside the school with daniela,walking next to her. so what's your department,ria? daniela asked. "oh", about that, i'm an art student,theater art is my department and you? i'm also in the same department as you,so that makes us course mates,daniela said smiling. "yeah" ria said. when daniela got to her class she stood outside and turned to look at ria then she spoke softly..ria this is my class so i guess we'll see after lectures, daniela said smiling. "oh" this is also my class isn't this class 54? she asked daniela.. yes it is. daniela answered, so that makes us classmates hmm... sounds pretty cool,isn't it? she asked ria. it is, ria responded. so they both entered the classroom calmly. ria asked daniela if she sat alone or already had a seat mate. sorry ria i would have loved you to sit with me but i already have a seat mate "daniela said".its ok ria said, i'll sit over there,i think its the remaining space left in the class. um, "ria" that seat kinda belong to that jerk you met few minutes ago and he doesn't like... she could hardly finish her sentence when he walked in. "daniela", you were saying? ria asked. daniela was about answering ria's question, but someone interrupted her. leave my seat now!! kelvin shouted at ria.ria was shocked by his manner of approach,suddenly they drew the attention of the other students. what's going on the students began questioning themselves,isn't that kelvin? what's he up to now? "hello" am i not talking to you? would you take your miserable self out of my seat? ria suddenly recovered from her shock,and asked camly,what's wrong with you? is this how you go around talking rudely to people you just met or am i dreaming,or something?you know what? i think you're just so rude and it won't be of good to you. kelvin smirked and said gently,like i care, just leave my seat before i do something drastic. the class was becoming more noisy and stuffy,then daniela calmly told ria to kindly leave his seat but ria refused saying the seat is meant for everyone to seat on and not just him. "oh" now i remember where i saw you, you were that rude,proud fool who almost hit me with his car earlier, "ria said". you'd better watch your tongue or i might hit you for real this time. "mr dave is coming" the other students said.
