Chapter 15

Flying to Ontario, Canada.

Kai's pov:

Vex, AJ, Denzel, and I were on our way to Ontario. I yawned and sat down in my chair. It was extremely relaxing and soothing. I had my own private jet that would take us places without using public transportation.

We had the equipment prepared in the back. It's probably dark for Souline and Alliana right now, and possibly noon as well.

We left Mimi alone with the maids in our mansion, and I'm sure Vex is already traumatized by the prospect of ever feeding her again.

He complained about three small cuts that he claimed were "deadly." He was fine after just three small bandages. I'm curious how the plan will turn out—will it be bad or good?

Will we be apprehended? Will we be arrested? Will Alliana retaliate? This entire plan seems insane to me, and it makes me wonder about Carlos' intentions.

"So, when we arrive in Ontario, who will take us to Alliana's place?" AJ asked. "I already have an Uber waiting for us," I explained. "You don't think Souline will be there?" Denzel asked.

"I'm not sure," I admitted. "You said you knew where she was," AJ said. I took out my phone and looked up Souline's location.

I furrowed my brows when I saw the word "unknown." "Her address says unknown; perhaps she's at home," I speculated.

"So, who's going to guard?" Vex asked. "Not you. If you can't properly feed a cat, imagine how horrible you'll be while guarding," AJ stated. "Shut the f**k up!" Vex yelled.

"AJ will accompany me, and Denzel and Vex will guard," I explained. "Ew, I'm stuck with this p***y?" said Denzel. "You'd be dead a long time ago if we weren't teammates," Vex said.

"Enough! Stop acting like kids!" I yelled, turning around with a scowl on my face. "Whatever," Vex said.

If they keep acting like this, I swear I'll order the pilot to turn off the engines and have us crash somewhere.

Ontario, Canada.

Alliana's pov:

I sat on my bed and took out my phone. I started dialing Gio's number and waited for him to call me back.

"Hello?" Gio asked. "How are you, Gio?" I asked. "Hey Alliana, I'm fine, how about you?" Gio asked. "All right, I need you to do me a favor," I explained. "Sure, what's up?" Gio asked.

"Today, two SA victims approached Souline and me and asked for our help. They stated that the detective "helped" them, claiming that it wasn't the man and refusing to believe them despite the evidence," I elaborated.

"Seriously? People like them irritate me. How can you not believe someone who has evidence?" Gio asked.

"Both Souline and I thought the same thing, and the detective's excuse that "it could be anybody's print" didn't help," I explained. "Did he even tell them to take the SA forensics exam?" Gio asked.

"They did, and despite the results, he didn't believe them," I explained. "That's suspicious; I'll look into it," Gio said. "I'll have Souline send you their contact information," I promised.

"Ok, I'll get to work as soon as I get them," Gio said. "All right, Gio, thank you so much," I said. "Not to worry! Take care!" Gio said. "Likewise!" I exclaimed before hanging up the phone.

I yawned and leaned back, checking the time and seeing that it was already four forty, almost five. I decided to go upstairs and take a shower before sleeping early. I'm exhausted from today's work.

Ontario, Canada.

AJ's pov:

It took us about two hours to get to Ontario. It wasn't bad for the most part, and it was super quick.

We told the pilot to go somewhere discreet where no one would find him and to let us know where he was.

We were inside the Uber, which was awkward because it had been a long time since we'd been on one, especially with a stranger.

We put our equipment in a bag and placed it in the trunk. We couldn't even talk about our strategy; we had to text each other.

Vex: Where will Denzel and I stand at?

Kai: The yard.

Denzel: That's a dumb spot, what if anybody sees us?"

Kai: Just hide behind a tree or a bush, I don't f*****g know.

Me: You guys are dressed in black, just don't make it more noticeable.

Kai: AJ and I will break into Alliana's house and just do it from there, then once we get here we'll go to the location that the pilot sends us.

Vex: That could be a long-ass walk, especially while holding someone unconscious.

Me: Do we know anybody who lives here that can take us there?

Vex: Just bribe uber with money.

Kai: Whose going to ask?

Me: I'll ask.

"Hello, sir, what is your name?" I asked the driver. "Michael," Michael said. "Michael, you'll do anything for money, right?" I asked. "It depends," Michael explained.

"What if I gave you fifty thousand dollars for your help?" I asked. "Fifty thousand? I can go anywhere with that money!" exclaimed Michael.

"All you have to do is wait for us once we arrive at the location and then take us to another location; just don't question it," I explained. "Okay," Michael said. "Do we have a deal?" I asked.

"Yes, sir."
