A LEARNED LESSON

Efosa is a lady named after her mother was late during her birth . Her father, Mr Pete took responsibility to care for her right from her childhood till when she clock seventeen. It was disheartening because Mrs Catherine, her mother went through a lot during her delivery but she was there to enjoy the fruit of her labor. Not withstanding, her ( Efosa's) father cannot breastfeed her , he has to hire a nanny to take care of her. Seven days after her delivery, she was named Efosa. Her father took her care under control since he was now responsible for taking care of her well-being. After six years of her birth , she went to high school to start her academic career but graduated after four years of study. But, time goes by, she intended to further her education up to university level. She wrote her university entrance exam , at first, she was not admitted. And she gave it her best shot for the second time, still not admitted. But, because she knew that losers are those who quit, winners never quit, she gave it another shot for the third time, time and luckily for her, she was selected to be part of those who were qualified for admission. Her dream course was law, and fortunate for her, she was given the course to study. And when he told her dad ,she was admitted, he was joyous and happy for her and gave her a lot of advice, for her to remember the daughter of who she is. She later went to the university for her academic career. A week after she entered the university, she was trekking down the school compound, and that's when she met David. David stopped her and engaged her in a conversation and they became friends, gradually, their friends became more apparent and they later became intimate friends. That's at the point when David asks her out and she gives in to her proposal. They begin a romantic relationship but as the relationship is still on, Peter tells her that she finds her sexually attractive and engages her in a curious conversation, and due to the sweetness of Peter's words, she falls and gives in to what he wants. After a month, the attraction between both genders became depreciated and Peter gradually lost interest in Efosa. later on, he told her that he wanted the relationship to come to a halt. And Efosa said, you are kidding me right??..and Peter told her he was as serious as anything she might think of. At that point, Efosa was highly depressed and fainted when she knew that her boyfriend, Peter was serious. She was rushed to a nearby hospital by her boyfriend and a doctor attended to her. The name of the doctor is Dr. Chioma. Doctor Chioma told her boyfriend Peter that, her girlfriend Chioma was short of blood due to lower transmission of blood to the heart. But unfortunately to the doctor's surprise, he told the doctor he couldn't donate his blood to her. But before he made that statement, the doctor asked him about his blood group and he responded. And was also tested as well to ascertain that his blood group was AB and coincidentally her girlfriend, Efosa was also AB which meant both were excellent for donation. Peter told the doctor that he was going out and he was going to return in two hours, but after the two hours elapsed, the doctor never set her eyes on Peter. And that's how Peter left Efosa at the hospital. After a couple of hours have gone, the doctor keeps on hoping for Peter to return, and for Efosa, she was in a terrible condition. That's when the doctor started asking her some questions about who she knew and she told her about her friends: Vicky, Irene, and Tope. The doctor picked up her (Efosa's) phone, and told her the password to unlock the device, then the doctor proceeded to call her friends which was the instruction she received from her patient (Efosa)... In a few minutes, the doctor was done making the call. Her friends showed up in 35 minutes..the doctor narrated what happened to her and due to the bond, the friends shared, among the friends, Irene was fortunate to have the same blood group as her which was AB and she donated her blood to her friend which made Efosa recovered from her bad condition state. The next day, she asked about her boyfriend, Peter, the doctor who gave her treatment, and the doctor replied that her boyfriend left yesterday and never came for her. She was highly heartbroken and she had no choice rather than to leave the hospital for their home with her friends because they stayed off campus. After they got home she was very distressed and her friends kept on encouraging her to let go of the feelings she had for him(peter) and move on with her life. After some time Efosa did, but the feeling was not off her at once, because letting go of an already given heart is a gradual process and cannot be achieved at once. During those times when she was heartbroken, her friends had a life-changing discussion that made their bond stronger. in their discussion, they vowed never in their life to sleep with any man until marriage. But during that time, their friend, Efosa was still pregnant and she didn't know what to do at the same time, she didn't want her parents to know either, that she was pregnant while at the university. So, her friends started giving her some sort of advice, some about the abortion of the pregnancy since it ( pregnancy) was still at a younger stage, using pregnancy pills, etc… But she heeded the advice of Vicky who said, abortion is a pregnancy. Soon the pregnancy was terminated but she noticed that She could never give birth again because she had lost her womb. That serves as a lesson for others not to believe in those sweet words told to deceive ladies just to sleep with them. From there, they continued their life journey and later graduated together with second-class upper. which two of them, Vicky and Irene achieved. But, Efosa and Tope graduated with the first class due to their commitment to their studies and others did well due to their commitment to study hard as well. But different commitments bring in different results. That's what differentiated them. But, after 3 years they later got married to their partners but Efosa was the first person to get married.
