A LEARNED LESSON

CHAPTER 5

When her husband keeps pressuring her about who he is. That's when she opened up about it and finally said he was her ex-boyfriend he met long ago before he(David) met him.

He came across her in the gym two days ago but she told him that she was married and he should stop bothering her but couldn't listen.

That's when he said he had to have a date with her to make up for what he had done to her a long time ago.

That's what makes her have a date with him before you caught them red-handed.

She meant no intention with him. While saying all this, she was sobbing heavily for what she had done while begging for forgiveness because she didn't want her marriage to be affected.

But her husband was highly disappointed in her about what happened, and he had no other choice than to leave her while kneeling.

And he left for outside to collect fresh air while still thinking of what to do to her wife after what she had caused. He keeps thinking about this. while doing this, Efosa was also sobbing while regretting her action towards her husband.

Because she knew that her husband would never trust her again because of what she had done. After some hours in the night, her husband went inside their hotel room where they lodged. On getting in, Efosa wasn't sleeping and she started saying “ BABE AM DEEPLY SORRY FOR WHAT I HAVE DONE, I REGRET MY ACTION TOWARDS YOU’’.

In her voice, her husband could sense a sign of regret but didn't say anything and went to bed. Throughout the night Efosa couldn't sleep because of the predicament she had put herself into.

Throughout the night she started thinking of what to do, and an idea struck her mind. Early in the morning, she will call her friends: Irene, Vicky, and Tope over to help her plea to her husband about her misdeed at the hotel where they are.

When it was daybreak, Efosa executed the idea that came to her mind that night by calling her friends; Irene, Vicky, and Tope for them to come over.

But, Irene knew what happened already and narrated it to others since they were curious about the reason why she called them over.

But, when Efosa called, they all agreed to come over to the hotel where she was by giving them the address and her room number where they stayed.

When her husband woke up, she greeted him, but he hardly responded to her greeting. After some hours her friends came over but her husband was already out then.

When they came, her friends asked her what exactly happened and she narrated how it happened. After an hour her husband returned, and they greeted him with amazement. He responded enthusiastically because it had been a long since she had seen her wife's friends.

They engaged him in a conversation for a few minutes and pleaded. But he still neglected their pleading. That's when they kneel for him altogether alongside Efosa. After some minutes went by, he accepted their plea and declared that he'd forgiven Efosa for what she had done, but warned her never to do that again.

And in front of everyone, Efosa vowed never to do something like that again, concluding that that was a mistake. and they all later agreed that it was.

Her husband declared they should go outside to have some fun and they all agreed. After getting outside, they order some food and they all have a good time enjoying themselves. But Efosa learned her lesson by never cheating on her husband again.

On the following day, Efosa goes to the gym to workout as usual. At the gym, he met Peter for the second time and Peter walked straight up to her. Efosa greeted and pleaded with him about what happened the previous day. And he agrees to let go of that by saying ‘’ALL IS WELL'’.

But Efosa told him that for things to go well, they had to break the bond between themselves so that he could be free of her.

And David agreed without putting much pressure on her, about the reason why she decided not to love her anymore because Peter understood what she meant by that statement.

And they both agree to have a separate way. Shortly after, she left the gym. When she got to her room where her husband and her friends were. They were all having an amazing time chatting, jesting, and laughing while cracking some jokes.

But after a week of staying at the hotel, they left for their house, with her friends altogether. After getting home, her friends spend some hours with them and they bid them farewell.

Both couples are enjoying themselves in their luxurious home and they are happy all because her husband has a heart that forgives and forgets about past mistakes. And they continue their relationship as a couple.

But Efosa makes sure that the incident that happened because of her must make the relationship stronger than ever before without getting swayed again.

Since that day she has been adhering to everything her husband tells her and she keeps loyalty and integrity as her major priority in the relationship. She later started learning about things that can make a relationship fruitful, like, respect, tolerance, trust, and so on.

Ever since she committed to studying those skills needed In a relationship, her relationship with her husband has been prospering, and as of that makes her husband love her more, because he can see a new attitude In her lover and that turns into their relationship. which makes her husband forget about what she had done completely, they continue living a fulfilling life.

After some months they later gave birth to a bouncing baby boy. Giving birth to that child makes their relationship more Sweet due to the happiness the child brought into the family.

Ever since then, the family had been happier all day long.
