I knew I couldn’t go home, so I walked right up to the front desk and said, “Hi...” I looked at his name badge, “Nakei. I’d like to book a room for at least a week.”
“Certainly,” the clerk replied with a smile. “For how many people and how many beds?”
He looked a few years younger than me, but he must have been at least eighteen years old for him to be working here. “It’s just for me,” I told him.
He gave me a wider smile, showing a row of perfectly straight, white teeth. “We have two single suites available, each with a King-sized bed, from sixty credits per night. One has a spa.”
“How much extra for the spa?”
