Chapter 17Hanna exited the interrogation room and sighed. “She claims she’s innocent. Says she has nothing to do with anything, that the bear knocked her out and overpowered them before she could protect Devin. And when she escaped, Devin was nowhere nearby and since there were guards, she had to run to save herself.”
“Funny how her face was unharmed when the bear carried her out of the house. And how did the truck get in? Someone must have opened the gate, and Devin was on the phone with Murrie when the truck arrived.”
Hanna waved a hand. “I don’t want to see what you do, but I’m not getting a single truth out of her, so give it your best shot.” She stepped away from the door, and Mars glanced at Rei.
