Author’s Update

Hi guys,

This is not an actual update for the story - as you may have guessed. It is still in progress, and I apologize for the delay.

I’ve had some personal issues come up lately, including having a miscarriage, surgery for said miscarriage, depression from same, emergency room visits and complications from the surgery, finding out that my position at work is no longer needed due to downsizing and my pay is being cut in half just so I continue to have a job, and also finding out that I may not be able to have children due to a chromosome issue. So, yeah, lots of issues. Needless to say, I’ve needed some time for myself and my family, and I’ve been selfish enough to take it.

I apologize for the length of time it’s taken me to get an update out to you all. I’m still working on it, but my inspiration has been pretty empty in recent weeks. I know that’s not a good excuse, especially when readers are expecting regular updates, and I fully expect to lose readers over this. I’m still struggling mentally and emotionally, so I can’t promise to get an update out anytime soon, but I appreciate those of you who are willing to stick with me until I can move past this and find my muse again.

If you decide to leave, or don’t want to wait for the update, I understand, and I don’t blame you. But if you decide to stay, please know that I appreciate your consideration and support more than I can express.
