Adelaide, Australia
Noah Williams
We're sitting in the bus driving to the theater. I'm so stocked for tonight. It will be our third show her in Australia and until now it has been amazing. The energy is amazing, the audience is amazing, it's just great. Yesterday we had a fun day here in Adelaide. It's so cool to be here and see how different everything is from back home. I have to say, I wouldn't have a problem with living here.
I'm sitting in the corner and listen how the others all have conversations. Me being too exhausted to have a conversation, I wander around on my phone. I didn't sleep very long last night and I'm still feeling the jetlag even though we've been here now for more than a week.
Not knowing what to do I end up in my and Richelle’schat. Almost being in the same time zone as her has been amazing, but it also means that she's already asleep around the times when I've finally time for myself. I read back the conversation we had last night. I couldn't sleep and she had one of her study nights again.
I've a really important question
What's up?
How do you look?
Those pictures I've posted are really me
Yea but they're from long ago
I haven't changed that much
But what if you have and I don't recognize you at the meet and greet
I'll put a name tag on with Richelle
And why wouldn't you just send a picture?
Because I don't like them
You don't like how you are?
That's not what I said
Then why don't you want to send a picture?
Just because
Please
No
Pretty please
Serious?
Always, I'm the king of seriousness
Shut up
Never
I see
Please
*sigh*
*pout*
Okay
What okay?
I think I've a picture somewhere that isn't so bad
Really?
Yea Katie and I were in some weird mood a few days back
Sounds fun
But
Oh this can't be good
I want a picture back
Deal
Ah you were right
About what?
This picture is awful
What the hell?!
What happened to your heart? Did it turn into stone?
asshole
Chill, haha I was joking
Not funny
Sorry
You're beautiful
what
Stupid auto correction
*it's beautiful
Special auto correction
Yea, I really have to turn it off
What auto correction makes 'you're' of 'it's'?
Mine
I just wanted to say that you're amazing and then he has to change it
Look he does it again
Shut up
But seriously Katie has some insane photography skills
I'll tell her
You still have to send a picture
You cheater that's a picture from Instagram
Oh you wanted a unseen photo?
Sometimes you're so annoying
Sometimes? I'm pretty sure I'm always annoying
You're not that bad
Well that sounded almost nice
Haha thanks
Honestly though, that picture looks great
Thanks
You're welcome
Cool
I should continue learning again
Sure?
Yea sorry
Okay
I'll talk to you later
I've a show again tomorrow, so probably not tomorrow
The day after tomorrow still counts as later
Touché
*bow*
*applause*
Shut up
I think I've heard that before, can't remember where though
Ugh, M you're annoying
What's new B
True that M
why do we add those 'B's and 'M's B?
Don't know M
Anyway good luck with studying B X
Thanks, you good night and good luck with the show tomorrow M x
Thanks B X
I scroll back to the picture smile at my phone. Still don't get why she doesn't like the picture, it's amazing. The picture.
And Richelle.
"Oh it's happening again," James says catching everyone's attention. I notice that he's talking about me when I look up. "What?" I ask. "You're smiling like an i***t at your phone again," he laughs. "Well maybe there's nothing I can do about it," I defensive myself, "maybe I am just an idiot."
We all start to laugh. "10 points for Noah," Michelle exclaims. "Thankyou, thankyou," I joke and take a bow.
"I think it's that Sara girl," West says. "Who's Sara?" Giselle asks. "Sara is the girl with who Noah made out at my party," Eldon informs her. "I don't think it's Sara," James says, "She has a boyfriend." "Wait," I say worried, "he was not at Eldon’s party right?" James
laughs slightly. "No," he says, "don't worry."
Suddenly I feel my phone buzz and look to see that my mom calls me. Why I stand up to walk away I pick my phone up. "Hi mom," I say cheerful. "Hi Noah," she says, "how're you doing?" "Good," I say and sit down in the front sit area. "How're things there?" I ask. "Good," she says, "but busy, but that's nothing new I think." I laugh slightly.
"So everyone is doing good?" I ask to make sure. "Totally," she says and hear her laugh, "actually Lou is begging me to give her the phone." I laugh. "I'll talk to you later then," I say. "For sure," my mom says, "good luck with the show tonight." "Thanks," I say.
"Hi Noah," I hear Marylou's excited voice. "Hi Lou," I say and still laugh a bit. "How's it going?" I ask. "Good!" she says, "I've made new friends." "That's great," I say, "but watch out, apparently boys and girls can't be just great friends." During the last part I hold my phone a little from my head and I say it loud to make sure the others are hearing it.
They laugh and I hold my phone against my ear again. "What?" Marylou says confused, she didn't get it. "Nothing," I say. "Okay," Marylou says. "Hey but I've got to go," I say when I see that the bus turns onto the parking lot, "so I'll talk to you soon okay?" "Okay!" she says and we say goodbye.
"So it is a girl?" Riley says when I walk back into the back sitting area. "Oh you didn't figure that out yet?" I say trying to not care about the fact that I just spilt that I talk to a girl. I thought they figured out already. Whoops.
"Busted," Eldon laughs. "Anyway," I say changing the subject, "we arrived at the theater." "Oh great," Michelle says jumping up, "can't wait for tonight."
And I can't wait either. Tonight we're going to give an insane show again, I just feel it.
