"You have no right!" My voice cut through the still night air, sharp and unforgiving as I stared Rhys down. My wolf, Sally, snarled deep within me, ready to meet his challenge. His towering frame just outside my doorway felt suffocating. His presence was overwhelming, but I refused to back down. I wouldn’t. Not anymore.
Rhys bristled, his grey eyes narrowing as his wolf’s dominance swirled thickly around us. “I have every right when another Alpha is hovering around my daughter’s mother,” he growled, his voice a low thunder.
