Rubbing my eyes due to the lack of sleep, I sat myself down on my usual table in the library and decided to finish my homework. The library was all the more peaceful in the early hours before school officially opens and the perfect time to revise. In reality, I just couldn't sleep and needed the escape from my home.
Checking the time, whilst my phone still had a black screen, I caught my reflection on the dark glass: my hair was in a tight pony tail as I hadn't washed it since Sunday, my makeup was a little heavier than most days and luckily I had no dark circles due to my lack of sleep. No. What I did have was puffy eye lids and a lingering headache, my hair being up in a ponytail would only worsen that.
The library was quiet again, only the librarian and I shared it's quiet presence.
