The first day back after the assembly was torture. I could hear everyone whispering rumors about what happened. I was glad Vincent had kept his promise, but he was drawing too much attention to me. During lunch Katie had come over and I wasn’t going to let her think that she had won.
I felt better and continued the day knowing I wasn’t going to let her or anyone else stop me. The week went by better than I could’ve hoped and I let Vincent know I was going to be okay. We made it all the way to graduation day.
Sarah, Ellie and my mom said they had a surprise for me. Vincent said that the graduation was going to be one that everyone would never forget. Alyssa had come over to get ready with me. I was so happy that I have her as a friend.
