The Money LaunderersA Crime Empire SagaBy Whiz CaskyIn London’s shadowy criminal underworld, power is inherited—but only the ruthless get to keep it.When the feared London mafia patriarch Lord Alastair Blackthorn announces his retirement, the city’s most dangerous families hold their breath. But instead of naming a fellow mob lord as heir, he chooses his estranged son—Damien Blackthorn, a light-skinned Black man raised on blood, exiled to China, and reborn as a brilliant accountant with cold eyes and a sharper mind.Returning to a volatile city where drug lords, arms dealers, and mob royalty fight for control, Damien takes the reins of Blackthorn Global, a billion-dollar front that launders money through ports, tech, and finance. With whispers of weakness in the air, Damien is forced into a political marriage with Isadora Langford, the elegant but lethal daughter of English mob boss Victor Langford.Their union begins cold—transactional—but Isadora earns Damien’s trust in the fire of street warfare. Together, they destroy Vanguard International, a rival laundering empire run by the deadly Vireli twins. Their victory marks the beginning of a blood-soaked reign. But peace is a myth in this world. When Colombian drug kingpin Diego Montoya threatens the Blackthorn throne, Damien unites old alliances, including a powerful reunion with his former best friend Jin Shen, heir to the Chinese triads. Damien wages a brutal war across continents and eliminates Diego in a storm of violence. Then comes the betrayal.Emilio Montoya, Diego’s vengeful son, rises from the ashes and strikes a fatal alliance with Victor Langford—who, out of fear for his daughter, pulls her away before orchestrating a deadly ambush. Meanwhile, Sloane, Damien’s cold-blooded yet loyal assistant, gives in to jealousy and sells him out. But Damien doesn’t die.He rises.Saved by Jin Shen, supported by Isadora’s love, and fueled by vengeance, Damien returns stronger. He exposes the traitors, slaughters Emilio, and dismantles what remains of his enemies. Even Victor Langford—torn between legacy and love—returns to Damien’s side, rebuilding what matters most.In the aftermath, Damien and Isadora are no longer survivors—they are sovereigns. With Jin Shen at their side, they restructure London’s criminal hierarchy. The Six Pillars of London either fall in line or vanish.Damien Blackthorn—once the reluctant heir—becomes legend. But he’s not done.London was just the beginning.

Next Of Kin
The old man sat at the head of the table, his breath shallow, his voice thinner than it once was—but his eyes, cold and sharp, still ruled the room. "This will be my last meeting with you," Lord Alastair Blackthorn said. "Death is already breathing down my neck.” The room remained silent. The same thoughts were running through the heads of the remaining five mafia bosses: Who would be the leader now? Are we going to vote for one of us to take the seat? "My son will be taking over from me. The next meeting will have him sitting in this chair. Please give him the same respect you would give me." Murmurs erupted. "Does he have a son?" Rafe, a Jamaican mob boss, asked his colleague in a hushed tone. "I heard he had a son, but I don’t think he’s in the country," another mob boss whispered. "The old bastard... even at death’s door, he still wants control," Victor Langford, an English mafia boss, muttered with a laugh. "As—" Lord Alastair began, and the room immediately fell silent again. "As there’s nothing else to discuss, the meeting is now adjourned. The ports will be open by this time tomorrow, so you can continue business as usual. Bring your dirty money for me to make clean. That will be all," Lord Alastair Blackthorn said. He was a London mafia boss who laundered money for top drug lords under the guise of a tech company and port shipments. He stretched out his hand to his assistant, who helped him up and into his wheelchair. The rest of the mafia bosses exited the house. "Boss, I never knew you had a son," Sloane, his assistant, said. "Oh, I never told you about my boy?" he asked, more rhetorical than curious. "Well, since he ran away from home eleven years ago, we haven’t really communicated—except on his birthdays." He paused, a flicker of sadness in his eyes. "He’s a good lad. He works in accounting for one of those big companies in China. Now take me to my room, Sloane. I need to sleep." She wheeled him to his room and helped him onto his bed.
