1st PERSON: Pelomina Lorenzo-Capiz
“Mother of—”
“MINA! LET’S GO–LET’S GO!” Klaus yelled as he jumped onto the poor horse, who still ran even with all the extra weight. It all happened in a blink of an eye. Naturally, the knights behind us obviously had faster horses who were only carrying one person and not three, which is guaranteed to slow a horse down who wasn't even fast enough in the first place.
Still, with some horse maneuvering I’ve learned in the past years and experience in running away from authorities, we didn't get caught without putting up a worthy chase. My hair was flying in all directions, and I could feel Klaus squirming behind me,
“Seth! Move back a little!” he yelled.
“I’m already sitting on the damn tailbone—they’re catching up!” Seth yelled, his voice getting louder as he delivered some really bad news. They clung hard to the saddle as we swerved, but since it’s two against one, they’re bound to corner us. By then, we painfully jumped off the horse and split directions. The leaves and sticks cracked under the weight of our feet as we ran with all our might,
“Halt or we will shoot!” I heard one of the knights warn, but I didn’t stop running, waving off every hanging branch or leaf in front of me.
“OH—F*CK!” I heard Seth yell and at that, I stopped in my tracks,
Just then, realizing that none of these knights were going after me but gone after Klaus and Seth instead, the next thing I saw was one of the knights on his horse aiming an arrow at Seth who was clutching his leg in pain, lying in the ground, while Klaus was on his knees, apprehended by another knight who held his hands behind his back.
‘NO!’
“STOP!” I yelled, and they all turned to me, panting. I slowly approached the scene, and the bow aimed toward me instead of Seth, alright. Better, they’re not going to shoot me.
“Stand down!” The knight aiming an arrow at me yelled like I was holding a weapon.
My hands shook as I slowly raised my arms, “W-We surrender, we’re not going to run,” I said, and the knight holding Klaus’s arms scoffed.
“Of course, it’ll be the end of you, if you did,” he commented before the other knight on the horse unarmed his bow and took the cuff from the side of the horse’s saddle, throwing it to the other, and getting down on the ground himself to cuff Seth. Once both of them were cuffed, I was next, and I didn’t want to prolong this any longer. They cuffed me and we were so roughly escorted to a mobile prison, all four sides are just long vertical bars made of steel.
I sighed as I slid against it until I sat down.
Klaus looked beat and Seth buried his face in his hands, sighing deeply. I gulped, not even looking at them, and kept my eyes glued to the wooden panel of this cage, “Uh… S-So, when did you get here…?” I asked, trying to break the stiff silence between the three of us.
Seth raised his head up to look at me, obviously very angry and disappointed, “Not too long ago… we noticed far too late when a colleague of us refused to understand simple instructions and fled off when told exactly not to do so,” he listed, I shrunk in my spot,
“I didn’t think we’d end up in this predicament, I didn't mean for this to happen,” I explained in a hushed tone, this is the worst spot we could be, not to mention that these two knights shift between each other top survey around them border so they could keep an eye on us. We can’t come up with an escape plan because Klaus refuses to talk to me,
I understand though, I wouldn’t to me either, being in the worst-case scenario wasn’t something I even considered happening, but here we are. All because they got caught as they tried to look for me. It’s all pointing back at me. Given that it's so easy to pick the lock, we’re not exactly confrontational. If we fight, we die, and if we run, we also die, but from a distance because that bow and arrow didn’t look like it had a distance limit.
“I’m sorry…” I whispered, but neither of them looked at me. It’s alright though. My apology won’t get us out of here, so I need to think of something…

It’s been hours, and I still haven’t thought of anything. The sun was setting; it was getting darker by the minute and I’m starving. I could only guess how these two feel. I doubt they ate anything going there.
‘All of this… for Lykus, damn it, I just couldn’t—’ Wait.
… oh man, I just thought of something. This is a last resort sort of situation, so I don't think I’d pull through with it… unless.
“Do you have any ideas on how to get out of here that you’d like to share at least—I swear I’m never going to do this ever again,” I whispered, but it's still just radio silence between the two of them,
“Nothing?” I added in, making sure I have no other choice except to do what I was thinking, I waited for a solid minute before humming to myself, “Alright then…” I said with a sigh, standing up and clanging the metal bars with my cuffs to get the knight's attention, not just that both Seth and Klaus also immediately darter their eyes towards me.
I didn’t stop, “Hey! It’s already night, aren’t you going to bring us to the castle dungeons soon?” I asked the knight, and he scoffed,
“Excited?” he asked with a smirk, clearly mocking me.
I sneered and at that, I could tell Klaus and Seth got the gist of my plan and they were obviously against it as they jumped to their feet, Klaus, taking firmer action, put his hands over my mouth,
“Please don’t mind our friend here, she’s a real delicate woman, she must've been getting skittish with our situation here,” Klaus chimed in, but again this man could not pass off a good lie on the spot, without Seth's guidance that is,
The knight stared at us with suspicion and, for good reason, I pushed his hand away from my face and looked at the knight again. “Take me to the castle,” I said,
He nodded, confused at my demands, “I will, but I doubt being brought to the castle dungeons would be much comfier than ‘ere,” he said with a shrug, looking at me up and down before shaking his head,
“Oh… I won’t be going to the dungeon,” I corrected, and he squinted at me. Seth and Klaus are now in a whispered argument.
The knight simply chuckled at me and crossed his arms, “Who the hell do ya’ think you are, this is no longer your territory, princess, all you have to your name from now on, is a cell and a pillow,” he hissed,
I ignored that and took a deep breath, “bring Lykus here… he’ll know who I am,”
