Claudia's POV
It had been ages since I last saw my best friend and even when I had left her in Lupa's home, I still didn't want to leave without her.
I had been so hocked and heart broken when I searched for her and didn't see her many years ago. At first, I had hated her for leaving me without prior notice, she should've at least told me, but when Selene spilled that she had been sold without her own notice even, that pain turned to anger and pity for my innocent best friend and I prayed everyday that where she was would favour her.
I could see that my prayer had been effective after all. Even though it had taken time for me to finally adjust and make new friends, I still did not hold it against her, knowing she was going through worse situations.
